It seems that there will be a chance to replace Patricia with any loved one Resident Evil character such as Ada Wong, Claire Redfield, Ashley Graham, Helena Harper, Chris Redfield or Mr. X (to name a few) as players try to take Leon away from his dear wife Patricia. It suggests that something is wrong or off with Patricia, leading to some fan theories that she is a Mold entity like Ethan Winters.
