Warning: The following article contains spoilers for Pokemon Legends: ZA's Mega Dimension DLC.While new Pokemon Legends: ZA The Mega Dimension expansion added several new Mega Evolution forms, the DLC unfortunately left Mega Flygon off the list despite trainer requests over the years. While some animals like Chimecho and Raichu received new forms Pokemon Legends: ZA via DLC, Flygon fans will have to wait.
Flygon, known as the Mystic Pokémon, first appeared in Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire. It is the fully evolved form of Trapinch and Vibrava and is a Ground and Dragon type monster that can whip up sandstorms with its wings. With the Levitate ability, the Pokemon becomes immune to Earth-type attacks, increasing its resistance to types like Poison and Fire. While Flygon is particularly weak to Ice-type attacks, its balanced stats and high HP make it a formidable and versatile Pokémon to build. Unfortunately, even with the addition of returning pocket monsters like Farfetch'd and Mime Jr. in the Mega Dimension DLC, Flygon is one of several Pokemon still missing from it. Pokemon Legends: ZA which also appeared in Pokemon X and Y.

While other Hoenn Pokemon like Chimecho received a Mega Evolution form in the Mega Dimension DLC, Flygon was unfortunately overlooked by The Pokemon Company. The omission did not go unnoticed Pokemon Legends: ZA players, as some took to the game's subreddit to make light of the situation. A post by Salty145 pointed out how the Scovillainite Mega Stone colors had a similar look to Flygon's green and red color palette. The Redditor went on to point out how Pokemon fans have wanted Flygon to Mega Evolution for years, only for the newer Scovillain to first appear in Pokemon Scarlet and Violetto get a new form instead. Other Paldean Pokémon that received Mega Evolutions in the Mega Dimension expansion include Baxcalibur, Glimmora, and Tatsugiri.
as an answer Pokemon fans chimed in by stating that some monsters like Garchomp received a second Mega Evolution form, namely Mega Garchomp Z, while Flygon was completely absent from the new expansion. While the continued exclusion of Flygon from the game is unfortunate, it unfortunately has some precedence. During data mining for the Mega Dimension DLC, Pokemon fans have uncovered no evidence that Flygon was there Pokemon Legends: ZAlet alone get a Mega Evolution. Flygon's final form remains Pokemon Scarlet and Violetwhere it could be found in the Terrarium Savanna Biome after purchasing The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. So fans hoping that Flygon will receive a power-up from The Pokemon Company will have to wait.
Although Flygon was closed Pokemon Legends: ZA and Mega Dimension DLC, Next Generation Pokemon games could offer Mystic Pokémon another chance to take off. Whether Flygon will show up remains to be seen Pokemon Gen 10 or The Pokemon Company has another surprise in store Pokemon Legends: ZA for the fans to enjoy.
in Pokemon Legends: ZAIn the Mega Dimension expansion, trainers who have already beaten the main story of the base game will gain access to new hyperspace wormholes that appear throughout Lumiose City. These wormholes lead to Hyperspace Lumiose, a parallel facsimile that houses powerful Pokémon that can exceed the usual level 100, including Mega Evolution forms like Mega Absol Z that did not appear in Pokemon series before. Trainers will need to ensure their entire team of available Pokemon is level 100 and should set aside plenty of time and resources before exploring the various parts of Hyperspace Lumiose that come and go.
