Xbox announced the price for Forza Horizon 6premium upgrade and will cost an additional $59.99. Fans got a first look at the game Forza Horizon 6 during Xbox's Developer Direct on January 22, which also confirmed the game's May 19, 2026 release date. Playground Games, the team behind Forza the series confirmed that the new entry will have more than 550 cars at launch, expanded accessibility options and a new base-building feature called “The Estate”.
The extended demo took a deep dive into the game's long-rumored setting, Japan, which it confirms Forza Horizon 6previously leaked location. Playground Games stated that this will be the biggest map of the series to date and will feature dynamic seasons, real-world locations, dense cityscapes, auto-driving mechanics, and plenty of new activities to keep players busy. The Premium Edition includes two future post-launch expansions, 30 additional cars, and VIP and Welcome car packs that offer car vouchers and rare clothing. The most notable inclusion, however, will be four-day early access Forza Horizon 6 premium buyers. This will allow access to the game on May 15, 2026. Unlike some premium versions, Forza Horizon 6 it will not include the Game Pass subscription bundled with the product.
The news comes at a time when the Xbox could benefit from a positive public reception.
