Gege Akutami confirms the return of the big villain in the sequel

Jujutsu Kaisen the original manga ended in 2024, but made a big comeback with the sequel series known as Jujutsu Kaisen modulejust a few months ago. JJK Modulo takes place in the same world of the same author, Gege Akutami, but with a different artist. While JJK Modulo is still relatively new as a manga series and still only has 7 chapters, it has already given fans some absolutely massive revelations.

Most interestingly, the latest chapter of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, namely JJK Modulo Chapter 7, confirmed the return of JJK's most iconic villain, Mahita. Mahito was absorbed after the events of Shibuya and presumed dead, but at this point it seems he's still stuck in limbo with an imminent return. Mahito could be the first of many enemies to return in JJK Modulo, with others including Ryomen Sukuna.

Jujutsu Kaisen module it's already picking up pace as a sequel JJK. JJK Modulo takes place 68 years after the last battle against Sukuna and focuses on brand new characters who are the grandsons of Maki and Yuta, namely Tsurugi and Yuka Okkotsu.

While many characters from the old era have yet to appear, fans do know that Gege is finally bringing some iconic characters back. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 7 recently dropped and it's a massive reveal. against all odds, Mahito is back in the story.

Tsurugi was clearly dreaming about Mahita when he was knocked out after the battle. It seems that Mahito is still somewhere between life and deathbut his reincarnation and return to the story remains a possibility. In the same dream, Mahito mentions someone who is “not him”. In other words, Mahito seems to be looking for someone, and that someone is probably none other than Yuji, a character that fans have already seen in a quick flashback in the Module.

Mahita's words seem to not only mark his official return but also the return of Yuji Itadori. At the same time, it also confirms that Yuji Itadori is still alive. There could be a big rematch coming up for these two characters.

Gege shocks fans by bringing back Mahit and fans wonder if he could be the first of many to return, especially among the villains.

While no one knows for sure at this point, it's possible that Gege does to bring back Sukunaone way or another. Sukuna's dying wish was to take a different path in life if given another chance, and Modulo would be the perfect place for that to happen. Sukuna could also be reincarnatedor something related to it his last finger could be revealed. Either way, fans will have to keep reading Modulo to see what Gege has in store.
