Not too long ago, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket confirmed that new packs are on the way. These decks are set to build on the game's collection, which already numbers around 300 cards.

Naturally, however, collectors and those with FOMO have begun to worry that they may have to hurry up with their Genetic Apex collection for fear that the packs may be removed. Fortunately, the developers decided to suppress these concerns.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket's Genetic Apex is going nowhere
Clearly hearing the fans' cries of concern, Japan's Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Twitter account addressed concerns about Genetic Apex being removed from stores.
It tweeted the following statement:
Do you enjoy opening packages every day? Even after the release of the next expansion pack, you can still open “The Strongest Genes”, so enjoy opening it at your own pace!
With a total of 286 cards in this expansion alone and some very hard draw speeds, most players will likely take a very long time to complete Genetic Apex – even after limited trading is introduced in the new year, so this news is welcome.
It seems likely that the game will follow the cadence of the real-world Pokemon TCG by keeping expansions available for a period of time even as new ones are released.
Genetic Apex's draw speed didn't deter one player, however. After spending nearly $1,500, they collected every card in the inaugural Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket set by opening a ton of packs and completing Wonder Picks. Unsurprisingly, the game earns around $6.5 million a day.
The announcement that Genetic Apex is sticking around for a while also puts to rest another of the game's concerns, with the recent confirmation that Pokemon TCG Pocket pack points will expire once the set is removed from the store.
