It is said that the NPC for version 5.2

A leaker named JoQa recently shared models of an unnamed Flower-Feather Clan chief wearing a headdress with patterns reminiscent of Natlan's Saurians. The chieftain could be a key figure in Archon Quest version 5.2, helping the Pilgrim navigate in and out of the village.

The Genshin Impact The wiki also mentions members of the Flower-Feather Clan known as the “Wingless”, a group of people who fail the exam to become a Qucusaur rider. A view of the home of the Flower and Feather Clan

Since the Flower-Feather clan village is located on top of Natlan's towering mountains, players expect elevated areas in the new location. That appears to be the case based on a leaked clip from Flying Flame that showed platforms suspended in the air and balloon-like devices.

Possible Qucusaur sightings

Qucusaurs are a type of flying dragon in Natlan, and members of the Flower-Feather clan can bond well with them. Since the beginning of the Natlan Arc, Genshin Impact players encountered a variety of Qucusaur enemies in the region, such as the Goldflame Qucusaur bully. It is possible that the Flower-Feather clan may have domesticated Qucusaurs that players can interact with or even ride.

  • Goldflame Qucusaur Tyrant (aka Holawaga Ngoubou): A normal boss challenge found in Huitzli Hill in the Basin of Unnumbered Flames that drops the Mark of the Binding Blessing upon defeat.

Since the members of the Flower-Feather Clan are said to be known as great flyers, it is likely that they circumnavigate Natlan on Qucusaurs. It has been previously rumored that the Pyro area could introduce an exploration mechanic that includes dragon horses, which could also be a tease of being able to fly around the area. Genshin Impact characters can already transform into Tepetlisaur Whelps and talk to their adult versions, so the next update could introduce a unique way to interact with Qucusaurs.
