While The Game Awards 2024 brought some great reveals, fans were disappointed by two major absences – Half-Life 3 and Grand Theft Auto 6. A flurry of rumors and data suggested that this year's Half-Life 3 speculation might actually be legitimate, and since the reveal of the trailer, we've they haven't heard anything official about GTA 6.

Is it important for GTA 6 to win the most anticipated at The Game Awards?
Most Anticipated Game is not a real award, but it still has an interesting history.
While there may not be any more GTA 6 news coming our way in 2024, it looks like there are a few more details about the game that we didn't see in the first trailer. With Chinese video app Bilbili at 17,000 kbps compared to YouTube's 10,000 kbps, we get to see a few more details on the version of BiliBili than most of us have seen on YouTube.
GTA 6 trailer has more details than we've seen
As pointed out by GTA 6 Info on Twitter (via GameRoll ), the version of the GTA 6 trailer we've seen on YouTube, Twitter, or Instagram appears to be compressed in a way that obscures some of the finer details. Thanks to BiliBili's higher bitrate, we can actually see some of that detail and the game looks even better than we thought.
A side-by-side analysis of certain images reveals details such as stretch marks on her thighs, chapped lips, sand clinging to the NPC's feet on the beach, detailed footsteps in the sand, and the hair on Lucia's arm.
GameRoll pointed out that you'll need to load the images in 4K to see the difference in quality, but when you compare them, it's significant.
Even minor details like the creases on the leather car seat are more defined in the BiliBili trailer version. Of course, that's not Rockstar's fault – it's not like the developer gave BiliBili a better trailer. It's actually YouTube's lower bitrate that has masked these fine details.
After all, this is a trailer. And while the fidelity of Rockstar games isn't in question, we should judge how good it looks when it's finally out. Red Dead Redemption 2 was one of the most beautiful and detail-oriented triple-A titles ever made, and we can expect the developers to raise the bar with GTA 6.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is an upcoming title in the long-running series from Rockstar Games. Currently slated for a 2025 launch, details are scarce, though it appears to center on a pair of Bonnie and Clyde-like characters.
