Every year thousands of horror fans descend to Universal Studios Florida for Halloween Horror Nights. The annual scary tradition is in the 34th year and was the basis of the rotation of the Halloween amusement park; Some even consider it a peak in terms of scary houses and a maze. I've always been a fan of Halloween Horror Nights, but I never took part; This year, however, I finally managed to make my way to Orlando and experience HHN first hand.
I went through all 10 ghostly houses, started over four frightened zones, watched the Nightmare Fuel exhibition, checked the Haunt-O-Ponic Lagoon show, and sample many foods inspired by the diverse selection of Halloween Horror Nights. It is a lot for one night and in many ways it was stunning, but for the first experience of Halloween Horror Nights did not disappoint.

Halloween Horror Nights has so much to offer when it comes to the diversity of experience, and everyone has something unique to offer Halloween and horror fans. If nothing else, HHN is an opportunity to see universal creativity to make bloody, frightening and sometimes a little stupid.

Of course, Five nights in Freddy's and Scary are the houses of awnings this year. FNAF He was often the desired house and the Universal was pleased that thanks to the recent adaptation of Blumhouse, it was possible to provide fans' request. In terms of games I was most excited to see Fallout House, which is based on the Amazon Prime series. Although it is not particularly scary, Fallout The show revives iconic creatures from the world of Bethesd's game and the house draws inspiration from these same creations. Lucy performs a lot of spring jump, jumps out of Boo holes left and right, but real peak Fallout House in Hn is The opportunity to see a few brotherhoods from life -size steel armor and several other Whasfish monsters close and personal. There's even fun teasing Fallout Season 2 in the house if you make sure you have your eyes peeled.
Friday 13tH is a personal favorite among Slasher's film franchises, so I eager to see what HHN had compiled for his Jason Universe house. What is fine in this house is that it uses jumps and holes Boo to embody the tireless nature of Jason Voorhees – that it is behind every corner. Almost every iteration of Jason is represented in the house with good fears back and forth, but it is the final of Jason Universe, which pushes it across the top. It is a celebration of Jason's history and thumb.
WWE PRESENTS: HORRORS OF THE WYATT SICKS was an IP -based house that I was least familiar with. I know a little about the history of Bray Wyatt with WWE and I can appreciate the honor that this house presents. Wyatt was obviously a big fan Halloween Horror Nights and regularly participated in the event afterhour. Knowing that it is doing a house, even if Wyatt 6 is trying to scare, adds a small special element to the experience. The house is strongly relying on the characters of Wyatt Sicks and Bray's heritage for some great visual effects, but it is a story behind the house I felt it excelled.
Halloween horror nights will also surprise you with some amazing but scary original houses
Even if you can come to Halloween Horror Nights for IP, the original houses Universal are things where things will become the most creative. Without having to honor the brand or storyline of the movie/TV series, HHN takes things to some interesting places with their original houses. As in IP -based houses, some were stronger than others, but El Artista: Spanish scary, grave of meat and Galkn: Monsters of North had some truly impressive iconography.
El Artista was the most beautiful house of this year's Halloween Horror NightsIt offers some disturbing images mixed with complex architecture. The grave of the flesh kicks things with scary vibrations and then becomes funky and weird. Dolls: Let's play, imagine that you have been reduced to the size of the toy and you are forced to fight the owner who does not play nice. And Galkn had an incredibly cold puppet work, with a sense of scale that culminated in the night. In these houses I am most impressed by the originality on the display, and although they did not have a brand recognition, eventually they were some of my favorite. Obviously, HHN participants will go straight Scary or FNAF Because of the long waiting, but I wouldn't ignore the original houses – most of them were excellent.
Get into and from different groups of houses will guide you through various terrified zones of Halloween horror nights that are like scary houses in the air. Each of the frightened zones has its own narrationWith wandering frightened actors who want to slip into unsuspecting guests. Usually there are several installations of pepper in the Scare zones, but it is usually an attempt to find ghostly actors between the bunch and the effort not to be afraid.
My favorite group was the cat lady Crooked Lane, who told the story of an older woman who changed the Trick's Treatters into cats to support her immortality. Watching how the helpless “child” actors eventually became more of a cat, which went through a frightened zone, was nervous (and a little funny).
While IP -based houses are great, it is important that you do not miss spectacular original houses.
In addition to scares' experiences, which are scary houses and scared zones, HHN also has two Halloween shows that you can enjoy. Fuel Nightmare Fuel is an attack on the senses with a wicked amount of pyrotechnics, a tight dance choreography, a pounding of a soundtrack and a little stage production. It is by no means frightening, but the artists showed an excellent show that dazzles and excited with some truly impressive stunt work.
HAUNT-O-PONIC: Gholish Journey is an experience for water projection in a studio lagoon with some recognizable melodies and some ghostly drops of needles. Visually it is similar to a number of water programs that you can see in the amusement park, but with a Halloween twist. If you are in Halloween iconography, it is pleasant relief from the tireless fire of fears.
And of course there is food. Universal had a sample of food available during Halloween Horror Nights 34 to try it. Food of the amusement park for these types of seasonal events is my favorite thing; I like to see culinary creations bound back to the season or with the theme of the night.
For HHN 34 there was a thematic meal after all IP houses, with some really smart dishes. Fallout If this “devilled egg” was actually a dessert that I tried to wrap my mind. It was just like biting the textory, with the exception of the taste of the profile, was sweet. At first I didn't know what to make, but in the end I came to love them.
Other peaks were Five nights in Freddy's cupcakeWhich was massive and so complicated. FNAF Fans were crazy and his combination of raspberry and cannoli filling was excellent. Also from the Fallout booth I loved Cram Tats, which were excessive tater needs with spam spice. Booth Jason had a riff on S'Mores, which combined chocolate bread with Marshmallows, which was surprisingly tasty. And I was a big fan of Birria shoulders, who had a mixed flaming hot geetos.
The food of the amusement park can be a bit strange and for Halloween horror nights can be accepted by chefs. Yet they need food to taste well, and I was surprised by how I was very friendly, tasty and tasty so many meals.
I admired Halloween Horror Nights from a distance, but when I experienced it first -hand in Orlando, he helped hammer home how much a scary season means to me. Being around people who, whether they are concerned or not, want to go to these scary houses and see creativity on the display is a unique experience that I will not forget soon. I loved to see how these popular IPs are revived, and then how creative teams create scary and gags around these qualities.
Yes there were a lot of moments when the actor jumped out of now and “got me” but I had the most fun in all the details in every house – I saw Five nights in Freddy's Animatronic or look up and see the underside of the grave land in the grave of the meat. You can enjoy tons of really good food, pick up fun goods and take a show or two, but the houses are a focus of the event and I had an explosion that experienced them first hand. And I was extremely surprised at how well the original houses were, in many cases that brought my favorite moments from the night.
As a newcomer HHN, I don't think it is fair to provide evaluations or tips on how to pass the houses effectively, but I will say that this is an experience of Halloween if you count down the days before the first spirit does not open and the candy bags will appear on the streets of food. I knew I would love Halloween Horror Nights, but I was surprised how much I had.
