Community Manager for Helldivers 2 offers a fix for the announced Python Commandos Warbond while also providing new details on some equipment. Helldivers 2 continues to strive to improve the core experience, releasing new updates and fixes while balancing adding new content for players to enjoy as well.
Earlier this week, Arrowhead Game Studios revealed a new addition to the Helldivers 2Extensive Warbond DLC offering. The set offers players new armor, new power-ups, the AR/GL-21 One-Two primary weapon, and plenty of added customization items to help personalize their Helldiver even more.

Helldivers 2 Python Commandos Warbond Announcement Had a bug
However, the announcement of Python Commandos for Helldivers 2 was not entirely accurate. On Helldivers 2 discord channel, community manager Miitchimus has done a bit of patching of the armor sets in this DLC, specifically the RS-20 Constrictor light armor and the RS-40 Best of Prey.
The blog post mentions that each armor passive comes with Rock Solid, which “makes your Helldiver more resistant to stunning and ragdolling attacks.” However, Miitchimus admitted that this was a bit of a mistake, as the armor offers Ragdoll resistance and a 100% melee damage bonus, but no stagger resistance.
Armor corrections weren't the only news Miitchimus gave fans, as the developer also expanded some other items in Warbond. Specifically, the AX/FLAM-75 “Guard Dog” Hot Dog drone has the same stats as Helldivers 2Torcher FLAM-66. The chainsword known as the CQC-9 Defoliation Tool starts out with medium armor penetration and becomes heavy over time the longer it is used.
Finally, Miitchimus confirmed that the meaty looking M-1000 Maxigun is indeed very ammo hungry. However, they did offer some potential workarounds for fans as players can pick up ammo and continue shooting. Generous teammates can even offer supply packs to keep the weapon firing, which Miitchimus compared to the player turning into Helldivers 2 patrol gatling.
The new content will likely serve as a nice change of pace for players Helldivers 2 continues to struggle with many issues affecting the game. Game director Mikael Eriksson admitted that the studio is taking a more deliberate approach to its updates, making sure to address issues before adding a ton of new DLC content.
