Honkai: Star Rail - Greek gods and heroes have so far referred to in Amphoreus

HONKAI: Star RailThe third update introduced the new planet Amphoreus. This new planet is full of references to Greek and Roman mythology, from its name to her character and beyond. However, these references are not only specifically mentioned by the Greek and Roman gods and heroes, HONKAI: Star RailThe new planet has a Greek feeling for its design. In order to leave this article on the shorter side, this article defines a reference to a hero or God from Greek or Roman mythology when the name of this God or hero is mentioned. NPC Amphoreus have known names

Amphoreus has more than eighty NPCs and this number will climb because future updates for the new planet are already planned. However, some of these NPCs have more impact HONKAI: Star Rail than the others.

Some of the smaller NPCs have big names you can look for. For example, Daidalos, the chief engineer of Kremnos Arena, is briefly mentioned in the Arena maintenance protocol. His name is a clear reference to Daedalus, one of the most famous engineers in Greek mythology and creator of the Labyrinth and Father Minotaura on ICarus. Daidalos's name is proof of how he devotes himself to the absorbing narration of Hoyovers. This character has so far been shown only by name HONKAI: Star RailHowever, this choice is immediately revealed.

Other small NPCs that players actually communicate with some of the most famous names from Greek and Roman myths. Characters like Gaia, Peleus, Cassondra and Iason have virtually the same names as the Greek gods and heroes to refer to. Gaia is clearly based on the mother of Earth, Peleus is named after the father of Achilles, Cassondra, who acts as a beef batch in Janusopolis, is a reference to Oracle Cassandra and Iason is just one letter from the hero Jason. Iason especially names Dromase after other Greek myths, their names are Asterion, Eupemus, Castor and Pollux and Heracles.

There are several names that partly obscure the characters that refer to, such as Demetria, Apollonia, Aphrea and Ulixes. Stellar railway Players caught up with their Greek mythology will know that Demeter and Apollonia are references to the Greek gods Demeter and Apollo. Ulixes, however, is a Latin form of “ulysses”, another name for the Greek hero Odysseus. Aphrea is also a difficult situation. While Aphrea sounds similar to Aphrodite, a legacy that clearly binds the Greek goddess of love for Aphrea is the marriage of the character with Vulcan, the Roman name for Hephaestus. Aphrodite and Hephaestus are married and confirm that Aphrea was named after the goddess of love.

Roman mythology also has a fair share in the references of NPC. NPCS Bacchus and Fortuna are named after Roman points. Bacchus is a Roman appearance of Grecian Dionysus and Fortuna is a Roman goddess of happiness. However, one of the more important NPCs in the Amphoreus story is based on Greek. It seems that the older Caenis from the elder council is modeled after Caeneus.

Titans refers to Greek mythology constantly

Many Titans Amphoreus also clearly refer to Greek and Roman mythology. Titani like Thanatos, Mnestia and Zagreus all refer to the Greek gods with their names. Thanatos is a Greek personification of death, a suitable name for the deadly titanium. Mnestia and Zagreus are the most clear links. Mnestia is probably derived from Mnemosyne, the Greek goddess of memory, and it seems that Zgreus seems to be an orphic version of Dionysus. These names are suitable for titans who represent romance and fraud.

Titani Cerces and Oronyx, who could be one of the heirs of Chrysos, could also refer to Greek gods and heroes. Cerces sounds like a circle, a witch who appeared in several adventures, especially in Odyssey. ORONYX seems to refers to the goddess of the night, nyx. Due to Titan's tie on Evernight, this link seems logically.

Kephale, however, has the most visible reference to the character of Greek mythology, although it does not share the name. The Titans' father Amphoreus is shown to hold the sky, a direct reference to the Atlas. Missing Kephale on this list would be mad, although it does not technically correspond to the instructions set out at the beginning of this article.

Chrysos heirs gently refer to Greek mythology

Chrysos heirs are probably the most important characters in Amphoreus because all playable characters will be reportedly. Aglaea that was introduced HONKAI: Star Rail In version 3.0 he was the first heir to Chrysos to join the game. He shares his name with one of the Greek charity organizations. Mydeimos that joins HONKAI: Star Rail Version 3.1, it seems to share the name with Deimos, the Greek God of Terror and the son of Aphrodite and Ares. Two unreleased and supposedly heirs of Chrysos also refer to Greek mythology. This tragic character was a lover of Apollo before being hit by a jealous former lover. Phainon shares a similar role to Hyacin because he has been confirmed that he is Chrysos in Golden Epic Trailer, but is currently NPC. His name could be a reference to Phaenon, the god of the sky specifically on the star Cronus.

Hoyovers also referred to the Greek and Roman heroes and gods through the names of places, namely Janusopolis. This name is derived from Janus, the Roman god of the door that perfectly suits the city of a thousand gates. Janus is also referred to in the history of Amphoreus as Passage Titan. Even the reader's processing received a reference treatment, with the “twelve trails of Dromas Herakles” for players in the Epiphany grove. These constant links show how devoted to HONKAI: Star Rail It is Amphoreus themes. Future versions will certainly reveal more references to Greek and Roman gods and heroes.
