As for the miracles that exist in the world Narutofew come close to the level Itachi Uchiha displayed throughout his life as a ninja. Itachi was an incredible shinobi right from the start. Even before he became a full-fledged ninja, it was very clear that he was destined for greatness, which is why he was considered odd even among the Uchiha when he was a child. Itachi's talent was such that even legendary Sannin could not fail to notice his presence, and his abilities were so impressive that he surpassed them even before he matured as a ninja. Itachi was quite easily the greatest child prodigy the Uchiha clan had seen since Madara, and that said a lot about the talent he possessed.
But now in a new era Boruto series, there is a new Uchiha who might have the potential to surpass even Itachi Uchiha and all the others who came before him, and that is none other than Sasuke's own daughter Sarada Uchiha. Sarada is incredibly talented and has a very high ceiling that she will hope to reach in the end Boruto series.

Genius Hokage Level Child Prodigy
Itachi Uchiha was a pretty special ninja, and that was evident from his time at the Academy. He didn't have the temperament to be a leader, but he certainly had tremendous talent. Even as a child, Itachi was strong enough to defeat the adults of the Naruto world. In fact, once he awakened his Sharingan, he was so powerful that he was practically worthy of being the leader of ANBU, Konoha's special black ops. Furthermore, Itachi's wisdom was that at the age of seven he had already reached Hokage level. This shows how talented he really was.
Quite clearly, Itachi was a generational ninja that we won't see for a long time in the future. Once Itachi awakened his Mangekyo Sharingan, he went on to achieve sky-high levels of power that eclipsed even the legendary Sannin and Kage of Konoha. Itachi had the legendary Tsukuyomi powers with which he could cast space-time genjutsu and of course Amaterasu who could burn anything with unquenchable flames. Itachi's Susanoo also possessed the invincible weapons Totsuka Blade and Yata Mirror. All in all, Itachi had enough skills to be considered the strongest of his era, and if his illness hadn't consumed him, he could have truly gone on to reach an unprecedented level of power even among the Uchiha clan.

Sarada Uchiha has a higher ceiling than Itachi
Sarada's power level is already terrifyingly high
While it goes without saying that Itachi has immense talent, the fact is that Sarada has just as much talent as him, if not more. In the modern era of the ninja world, Sarada Uchiha shines as one of the brightest ninja of the new generation, and her goal is to become the Hokage of her village. Sarada's goal is quite ambitious, considering that she has to follow in the footsteps of Naruto Uzumaki, and that already requires her to reach a very high level of power. However, more than that, fans know that he has the ability to actually achieve this title.
As an Uchiha, Sarada is blessed with the legendary Sharingan, just like Itachi. However, in her case, the Mangekyo Sharingan seems to be even more overpowered. Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan was recently unleashed in the Boruto series, and it's abundantly clear to fans that her abilities are truly groundbreaking.

Simply put, Sarada can use her eyes to create black holes using a jutsu known as Ohirume. This ability allows her to create up to four black holes that she can fully control in terms of size and strength. The bigger the black hole, the stronger the gravitational force. Sarada can fully control what can and cannot be pulled into her black holes. These black holes have such a strong gravity that they can basically crush anyone, even as strong as Otsutsuki. In many ways, Sarada's raw power is already above Itachi Uchiha's level, but her overall abilities are not yet at that level. That said, Sarada's ceiling is incredibly high, and she really needs to surpass Itachi's level if she is to become Hokage.

Sarada will create a great legacy for herself
At this point, fans already know that Sarada will become the Hokage of Konoha. Whether it's the Eighth Hokage or the Ninth Hokage, Sarada will continue to hold that position for herself, and that already means she'll be considered a legend of the new era. As such, it's already been established in the Boruto series that Sarada will reach heights that even Itachi hasn't, and that's very exciting indeed.
Sarada may not have been as great a genius as Itachi, but her Mangekyo Sharingan is definitely stronger. Like Itachi, he is a really good-hearted Uchiha. Sarada is one of the few not affected by the curse of hatred that comes with the Sharingan, making her a worthy successor to Itachi's throne.
Itachi is more loved than Sarada
No one can truly dethrone Itachi Uchiha
All that said, at the end of the day, Itachi Uchiha will always be loved than her This is a simple fact that all Naruto fans understand and it's because Naruto is a more iconic series than Boruto. There isn't a single Boruto character that can hold a candle to the level of character writing that Kishimoto delivered in the original series. Itachi Uchiha is one of his best written characters and for someone to achieve that level of complexity in the Boruto series is practically impossible. Sarada can certainly surpass him in terms of talent, skill and even strength, but when it comes to impressive character, no individual in Boruto, be it Sarada or the main character, can hold a candle to Itachi.
