When players reach Bleak Beach Popopiadiscover new Pokémon, habitats and resources. They will also take important requests to restore the area and find out what happened to the people. Brighten Things Up is one of the main tasks in Popopia where players must help the moss-covered Snorlax “Mosslax” wake up from a deep sleep. The only way to do this is to restore electricity to Bleak Beach and make the environment brighter with fire, lights and a few special Pokemon.

How to Awaken Mosslax in Pokopia (Brighten Things Up Quest Guide)
After players increase their trainer rating Popopiathey will unlock Area Gates that lead to multiple areas. Bleak Beach is one of the first places players can visit after reaching a great position. When they get there, it is dilapidated and incredibly gloomy due to the intense cloud cover.
Finally, Trubbish asks the players to find the source of the mysterious sounds coming from the mountain. When players reach the mountain, they find Mosslax sleeping in a dark cave. From there, Professor Tangrowth gives them an Important Request to brighten things up to help the Mosslax wake up.
There are several things players can do to set themselves up for success during a quest. There are poles and lampposts around Bleak Beach but no current to them. To solve this, find the Wood Furnace in the southwest corner of Bleak Beach and fill it with about 30+ logs. Then place utility poles around the island to use electricity for longer distances. The top of the masts will light up yellow when they are on, and placing them near the lampposts close enough for a yellow dotted line to appear will turn them on. Do this all around Bleak Beach to progress the quest.
Meowth will ask players to turn on the lights around the harbor and the task will automatically complete if enough lights turn on. Return to Mosslax with Tangrowth and trigger a cutscene where flowers bloom on Mosslax's head. Tangrowth states that they need to increase Bloom Points from 80 to 100.

How to increase Bloom Points in Pokopia
Players can increase Bloom Points by adding more lights and completing requirements for other Pokemon in Bleak Beach, including the following:

Make a place to prepare meals in the resort with Torchic – players will need a small stool, a plate of Leppa Berry, a palm tree and a fire.

Create a tropical seaside habitat with Piplup and learn to swim from Lapras – find a palm tree next to the ocean and place four bushes next to it. Players can collect bushes using Dig.

Discover Peakychu, a pale Pikachu that can no longer use electricity – Peakychu will be in a flower bed surrounded by other Pokémon.

Craft a shell lamp using sea glass shards and seashells for Peakychu – both ingredients can be found scattered around Bleak Beach.

Restore overgrown vending machine habitat for Mareep — use Leafage to grow yellow grass next to the vending machine. Place a rod near it to power the automaton.

Explore the Lighthouse for Trubbish – Players can have an Electric-type Pokemon follow them to help power the reflectors at the top of the lighthouse.

Visit the furnace with Torchic — the quest will automatically complete if players have already placed wood in it.

Visit Windmill with Peakychu – located in the southern part of Bleak Beach.
How to power up the charging station for Peakychu in Pokopia
One of the last tasks to brighten up the area is to find a charging station with Peakychu. Towards the center of Bleak Beach, players will see a white platform with five circles. In order to get energy for it, players must place a utility pole near it, as well as three windmills.
Windmills can be built or moved using a Relocation Kit purchased from the PC Store.
Once all the circles on the charging station turn yellow, a cutscene will play revealing the awakening of the Legendary Pokemon and Mosslax. Players will also achieve Trainer Rank Ultra when they complete an important requirement.
