How to change your name in Marvel Rivals
When entering Marvel Rivals for the first time, all new players will be prompted to create an account by choosing their own username. There is quite a bit of flexibility with usernames, but there must be no duplicate namesbecause players will be able to find each other and add their friends.
Once you've decided on your own unique username, you can decide later (or even earlier if you feel you've made a mistake) that you wish to change that username to something else. Fortunately, this is possible, but there are a few minor restrictions that you'll need to keep in mind when considering changing your username.
First, you will need to go to your career profile. To do this, simply click on your icon in the upper right corner of the main menu. Here you will be able to view statistics such as your time played, wins, achievements unlocked, competitive standings and more. There will be a pencil edit icon next to your username on your career profile. Clicking this will take you to a page where you can buy a Rename tab how to change your username
Rename cards are at a cost 500 units, meaning you can either go through the Battle Pass, achievements and other opportunities by playing the game. Alternatively, you can buy Lattice with real world currency and then convert it to units and buy the Rename tab.
There are a few things to keep in mind when purchasing a Rename Card:
- Renaming your card only allows you to change your username once every seven days, so you can't spam username changes. Make sure you have your new username set up before completing the change.
- By changing your name, you will not be able to duplicate any names or claim a name that is already in use by someone else. As with account creation, all usernames must be unique to each other.
