With the cost of good gear increasing steadily as you progress, it's no surprise that a healthy supply of gold can be during your Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined playthrough. Fortunately, though, there are a few ways to earn them beyond just the usual amount of gold earned through normal story play.
For the most part, this will involve fighting a lot of monsters or taking part in mini-games, but if you're really desperate to earn some extra cash, then there are a few settings and even accessories you can equip to increase your gold mining rate. If you're hoping for a 100% game, you'll need to use at least one of these methods to unlock all the items and get the gold achievement.
Loot And Sell
In almost every game, one of the most common ways to get extra money is by selling things you no longer need. When playing through DQ7 Reimagined, you'll regularly find pots, barrels, cabinets, sparks, and chests scattered throughout each region. Each of these items will usually contain something that you can collect, which you can then use in battles or sell for gold.
Even if you have no reason to enter a particular room or building for story purposes, you should explore every inch of every region to find loot, and you might even come across tablet fragments while you're at it. Certainly yes open things like chests and cabinets and destroy any barrels and pots you find lying around.
Most consumables won't net you much gold, but if you find yourself with an absurd supply, it can add up. he said that don't get rid of anything you regularly use in battle or anything that is a rare find. The game will also usually alert you if you're about to sell something that you have no chance of finding again.
with that in mind most of your loot sales should come from old gear. While you don't necessarily have to sell the item you just looted from the chest, you can sell the item you just traded. Ideally, you should try visiting the local vendor again when you wrap a region so you can unload old gear and have some gold ready for the next region.
Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined: How to unlock chests
Those pesky locked chests require specific keys to open in DQ7 Reimagined. Here's how to get them all.
Play Lucky Panel
In keeping with the idea of selling things, there really is a way to sell farm equipment, some of which can fetch a pretty penny. Once you've unlocked the Alltrades Abbey area, you'll gain access to a few new things to do, including a battle arena and a luck panel.. Lucky Panel is a mini-game that you can find in Tavern in Pilgrim's Perditionand it can be a great way to win significant prizes.
The idea of the game is simple: you will be shown several cards which will then rotate and move around so you can try to find all the matches. If you complete the puzzle, you will be able to advance to the next difficulty, where the items you just won will be exchanged for a chance at better items. You'll only be allowed so many mistakes per puzzle, but they carry over.
Once you start reaching higher levels, things get more complicated, so you may need to implement a little cheat to continue your winning streak. The easiest way to do this is record the cards before you turn them over and keep recording until it's time for you to guess. You can do this with your phone, which is probably the easiest, or with your platform's built-in recording software.
There are several trophies associated with Lucky Panelso even if you don't opt for this method of gold farming, it might be worth doing at least once to unlock the associated trophies/achievements.
Once you're done uploading, that's it use the video to select all the correct cards and then continue this process for each level until you win incredible prizes that you can then sellor use to trade in your old device so you can sell it. You will be limited to how much you can play in one day, but sleep resets revsso head to the nearby inn, rest and continue.
Fight with enemies
As for the methods of management, the last and probably the most beneficial way to earn gold is through combat. Each region will have at least one dungeon that is full of monsters, both past and present, where you can farm battles. You can also do this in the world, but it can be more tedious because you won't have quick access to the angel statue.while most dungeons have several.
If you're still early in the game, your options will be a bit more limited in terms of which enemies you should try to seek out, but if you are late game then Gem Slimes will be your best resource. You can find them in several dungeons that you return to near the end of the game, but the easiest place to find them is Burnmont after you've fought the Demon King.
That means that one thing you'll want to keep in mind with this method is that you'll also gain EXP by fighting enemies. This isn't such a big deal if you wait until the end of the game, but if you're constantly fighting enemies to get gold early, then you may find that you are too level for story-related content. This isn't exactly a problem, but it can prevent you from enjoying the game as intended.
Adjust your settings
Moving away from the other things you can intentionally do in the game, there are actually a few ways to adjust how much gold you earn while playing the game as if you were doing it normally.
Not everyone will be willing to adapt these methods, but for those of you who don't want to pan for gold or just want to speed things up, there is a setting you can adjust to increase the amount of gold gained from battles.
To do this, open the menu and go to the settings tab. Under 'Difficulty Level' you will see 'Gold Earned' option which you can switch to 'More'. This will increase the amount of gold earned by fighting enemies, helping you build your wealth just that little bit faster.
There is an achievement/trophy associated with earning more than 300,000 gold in the gameso it might be worth turning it on for a while to unlock this achievement. You can check your progress at any time in the Information tab of the main menu, where you can find an overview of your statistics.
This setting can be changed at any timeso if you find you don't like the extra boost, you can turn it off. in addition if you're grinding battles and worried about gaining EXP, you can also adjust the settings here to temporarily gain less experience from battles so that you are not so overgrown, if you will.
Equip the Golden Heart Golem
Unfortunately, the last thing you can do will require you to spend some real money to increase the pockets in the game. Along with the release of Dragon Quest 7 Reimagined, you can also get DLC Jam-Packed Swag Bag. The Jam-Packed Swag Bag is a small DLC that can be purchased for a few dollars and contains several useful items that you can use during gameplay.
It doesn't have any other content, but one of the things it does have is some Monster Hearts, one of which is Golem Heart of Gold. You can find the traditional Golem Heart item in the game, but this gold variant is specifically exclusive to this DLC. When equipped, it will increase the amount of gold obtained from battles by 50 percent.
This alone is an incredible boost, but coupled with other settings tweaks and farming methods, you should be swimming in gold in no time. That said, this is the only thing on this list that technically can't be accessed without buying additional content, so whether or not it's worth the extra money will be entirely up to you, as you can still earn a lot of gold without it.
