Extraction is a key mechanic YAPYAP which allows players to escape a level without dying. Extracting at the end of a level instead of dying gives players more benefits, including returning to the lobby with their full inventory.

YAPYAP players who want to extract must find an extraction point located somewhere in their level. This extraction point is hidden va a tall tower with a magical aura emanating from its top. Players can easily distinguish it from other parts of the castle thanks to this aura and the large staircase that leads to it.

After stepping up this staircase and entering the tower, players will find themselves in a circular room with a staircase at the back. Walking up these stairs leads the player to a room that contains a magic orb on a small stand. Press “E” on the orb to start the extraction process.

The interaction with the sphere will begin a 10 second countdown. Once the countdown is complete, everyone inside the circle will be extracted.

Only players inside the circle around the extraction ball will extract successfully.

While players can go through the night without actually extracting themselves YAPYAPthere are two main advantages to mining instead of dying in a castle. First, the players they do not lose the wands they entered the castle with. Instead, a successful extraction will allow players to return to the lobby with their inventory intact.
