Cleff, cute baby Villa Pokemon is back Pokemon Legends: ZA although finding one is a bit tricky as this elusive creature is shy and doesn't seem to like congregating around other species in wild areas. Cleffa evolves into a Clefairy and then a Clefable, which in turn evolves into one of the new evolutions introduced in this game: the Mega Clefable.
If players want to add a perfect counter for Dragon type Pokemon into their teams, then Cleffa is a decent choice. Catching and raising this little guy into a powerhouse is what this guide is all about. Check it out!
How to find Cleff in Pokemon Legends ZA
Cleff can be found on Clear Sky (Sunny Days, roaming around the Rooftops of Rouge Sector 5, on the roof of the Looker Bureau. The map in the images above shows the exact location where players can spot this little guy who appears in levels 11 to 13, so players can catch him fairly early in the adventure.
All three members of Cleff's evolution line are Fairy-type, but when Clefable evolves into Mega Clefable, it becomes Fairy/Flying, gaining a useful extra subtype and becoming immune to Ground-type moves.
How to evolve Cleff in Pokemon Legends ZA
The Fairy-type Pokémon Cleffa is extremely cute, but trainers must evolve it into Clefairy if they want to use it effectively in battle. To evolve a Cleff into a Clefairy, follow these steps:
-
Place Cleff in the active Party slot.
-
Go to a cafe/tea room and order tea (preferably Roserade Tea)
-
Wait a few seconds and then press B to stop drinking tea with Cleffa.
-
Open the menu and check the party. A white arrow should appear above Cleffa. If not, repeat step 3 again.
-
Evolve Cleffa Clefairy.
Keep in mind that Clefairy is not the final form of this Pokemon and the next ideal step would be to get a Moonstone from the Stone Emporium and follow these steps to evolve Clefairy into Clefable:
-
Open the menu and then Satchel.
-
Go to the fourth tab by pressing R and scroll down to find the Moonstone.
-
Select it. A small green tab with a check mark should appear under Clefairy. This means that the Pokemon is compatible with the Evolution Stone.
-
Place it over the Clefairy and then drop it to start its evolution Clefable.
Clefable has a total of 483 base stats, which are distributed as follows:
-
HP 95
-
Atk 70
-
Def 73
-
S.p.A. 95
-
SPD 90
-
Spe 60
It's worth noting that despite not reaching the required BST level, Clefable can be trained to become a perfect counter for Dragon-type Pokémon (which are more common each generation). With Mega Ampharos, Mega Drampa and Mega Dragonite, he runs rampant in the later stages of the game Pokemon Legends ZAplayers will definitely want a strong Fairy type in their ranks. In addition, Clefable Mega Evolve can use Clefablite, which can be obtained from Quasartico's Mega Shard exchange for 240 Mega Shards, although it won't be available until much later in the game.
