How to get LGM-1 Wonder Weapon in Astra Malorum (Black Ops 7 Zombies) To get started, you must first turn on the power and activate the Pack-a-Punch. You will now be tasked with collecting 4 Contraption parts. These parts can be obtained in any order:
Contraption Part #1 – A damaged drone
After turning on the power, OSCAR will appear on the map, which is the Elite enemy you need for LGM-1. With OSCAR on the map, find him via the Tac map and then destroy one of his drones. His drones are weak to Brain Rot, but any weapon should kill them effectively in a low turn. If you do, part of the damaged drone will fall. Run away from OSCAR with this part obtained while we find more parts.
Contraption Part #2 – Absolute Zero Fragments
After getting 500 Salvage, head to The Arsenal and buy the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod. With this Ammo Mod, shoot the Dark Aether Crystals that can be found around the map. Every time you shoot one of these crystals with a gun that has Cryo Freeze, it will drop an Absolute Zero Fragment. You will need to collect 3 of them to continue.
Contraption Part #3 – Car Battery
Once you have 5000 Essence, pack your weapon and then return to the Crash Site, which is the Astra Malorum spawn area. Find Ol' Tessie and look inside to find a shifter with a Mister Peeks head. Put the gear stick into gear and the car battery will be spit out from the hood of the car for you to pick up.
Contraption Part #4 – Aberrant Wiring
The last part needed is the Aberrant Wiring. To start, head to the Stargazer's Courtyard, where you'll find lots of lampposts. There will be a flashing light on one of these lampposts and you will need to shoot it to capture the Aberrant Wiring.
Now that you have obtained all 4 Contraption parts, you will need to find OSCAR and kill him using three different traps located on the map that can be activated by the parts you just collected. Below we list each trap and how to kill OSCAR with it.
Trap #1 – Electrovolt Projector
The first trap you'll want to activate is located in The Luminarium, where you can catch a Jugger-Nog. Inside this area you'll find a large trap and you'll want to interact with the switch that says “ready” to place the damaged drone inside. Now bring OSCAR into the room and work the switch again. This will start a timed objective where you have to stay in the room and wait for OSCAR's battery to recharge. Don't be afraid to shoot his drones, just stay alive in the room and let the trap do its thing until OSCAR dies.
Trap #2 – Thurston's Rocket Ignition
Once OSCAR reappears, head to the Museum Infinitum room where the Speed Cola is located. In the western part of this room you will find a rocket. With OSCAR in the room, interact with the rocket while facing south, which will start a 5 second countdown before the rocket launches. You'll want to position the OSCAR directly behind the rocket blaster so that the ignition blast kills it. If you fail this step, you will need to use your weapon with Cryo Blast again to get 3 more Absolute Zero Fragments.
Trap #3 – Observatory Laser
The third and final trap is located in the Observatory Dome, where you can activate the Pack-a-Punch. From this room will be a hissing pipe valve that lets out steam. It can be anywhere in the room, looking up, under or on the walls. Only at one of these valves will steam shoot out of the pipe and the goal is to shoot that particular valve and then find the next one. Repeat this 5 times and the observatory selector will point down.
Bring OSCAR to the Observatory Dome, and once inside, interact with the church organ across from the Pack-a-Punch. This will give you access to the telescope and you will need to align the lens with the Sun. In most games, this is accomplished by going up and slightly left. Once you line it up with the sun, a laser will shoot at the ground and you'll want OSCAR to go through the laser.
Once OSCAR is killed by the third trap, he will drop the LGM-1 Miracle Weapon, allowing you to pick it up and use it. Now you can use it as usual and upgrade it with Pack-a-Punch.
How does LGM-1 work in Black Ops 7 Zombies?
Is LGM-1 good?
The LGM-1 fires UFO projectiles that attack and shoot a single enemy, then return as your ammo once that enemy is killed. The LGM-1 has 3 rounds and these rounds are always refilled so you don't have to worry about running out of ammo. It shoots fast, has infinite ammo, but is also slow to kill.
The LGM-1 can also be upgraded to the Martian Man O'War, which makes the launch of UFOs appear more like a shotgun. The damage is better and there is now 8 ammo, but it's not great for killing mass hordes of zombies at once. The LGM-1 is most effective when fired as a secondary weapon. You can fire all rounds while on the move and let the gun do the work for you while you stay agile.
Another handy trick of the LGM-1 is how it handles OSCAR. While this Elite Enemy is still extremely hard to kill, the LGM-1 is great for distracting him and dealing half-decent damage. It seems like the Wonder Weapon was designed for OSCAR, but truth be told, the weapon's damage output is somewhat underwhelming compared to the Necrofluid Gauntlet or even the Ray Gun and Ray Gun Mark 2.
