This guide tells players what they need to know about acquiring Pokemon Pokopia Switch icons to customize their profiles with their favorite characters and items from the franchise. This is a limited time offer, so players who want to get these icons need to act fast.

How To Get Pokemon Pokopia User Icons On Switch

Nintendo is giving away themed icons to support the launch Pokemon Pokopia. The Popopia icons are part of the Missions & Rewards feature available to Nintendo Switch Online members. So while players don't need to own Popopia must have an active NSO subscription to obtain these icons.

Players can claim Pokemon Pokopia icon by opening the Nintendo Switch Online app on your Nintendo Switch, selecting the Missions & Rewards tab, and entering Popopia section. Each Popopia a character frame costs 10 platinum points.

The Pokemon Pokopia icons will be released gradually and divided into four waves. Here is the time each wave will be available:

Wave 1: March 4, 2026, 4:59 PM PT
Wave 2: March 11, 2026 at 4:59 PM PT
Wave 3: March 18, 2026 at 4:59 PM PT
Wave 4: March 25, 2026 at 4:59 PM PT

Players will see a choice of 11 custom icons in the Missions and Rewards tab and must get the ones they like best before profile pictures refresh and the next wave begins. On April 1, 2026, Popopia icons will be unavailable.
