How to get to the top of the cage
The weapons and ammunition you use Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl they are important, as are the healing items that keep you alive. The armor you use is just as important, especially when resisting the more passive dangers of the zone: radiation, chemicals, and the psi-energy that permeates the anomalies. With the right set of armor at the start of your adventure, you'll get a lot better a lot faster.

Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl – What is a zone?
Here's what you need to know about Stalker 2 The Zone lore.
The entire zone is available to you very early on in Stalker 2's story, but there's one armor in particular that's incredibly useful from start to finish. You can find out everything here.
How to get the Svea-D suit
TThe Seva-D suit is probably the best overall armor available after exiting the Small Zone tutorial after completion Mission Beyond Seven Seals.
After you get the key to the northern checkpoint and hear Ward's announcement in Zalissya that the lockdown is lifted, you can start your journey north where you will find the Suit.
Take the road north from Zalissya. Use the key to open the door at the left building of the northern checkpoint. Throw the bolt through the window to dispel the anomaly and across the broken bridge to the trash area.
You can also leave through the southeast gate from the Small Zone, although the path to the armor is longer if you go that way.
From the broken bridge, head northeast to a point of interest called The Cage, a ruined construction site in the Cement Factory region. It's about 1.5 kilometers or a five-minute run no buffs or stamina refills.
You can see the cage from the way out because there is a strange altar-like structure on top of it. It's also the largest, most angular empty building for hundreds of meters. When you get there to get the Seva-D suit you need to get upstairs where the suit is waiting.

Stalker 2: Heart Of Chornobyl – Should You Explore Or Advance The Main Story?
The zone has a lot to explore, no matter how you go about it.
How to get to the top of the cage
Reaching the top of The Cage is a complex platformer and, depending on how many healing items you have, also a time trial. The Cage is affected by an anomaly that not only saps your health but impairs your visionand you'll need to use at least a few med kits to get her up.
The process starts with that down the stairs from the ground floor.
At the top of those stairs, turn north and use the beams to go to the next set of stairs.
When you're at the top of those stairs, turn roughly south and look across the gap. Behind the wall is a set of ladders you have to achieve.
Cross the gaps to the east, then carefully cross the beams to the south towards the ladders. Climb up and turn around to find a stack of boxes that you can jump on to reach the next level.
Jump onto the platform to the north. There will be a drop of death to your left and it will get more difficult from there. Follow these instructions to get to the next part of the platformer:
- Go down to the first platform you reach and turn right at the end of it.
- Turn left at the larger beam.
- Turn right down the thin beam with the wire hanging down. Don't worry about the wire itself. You go right through it.
- Jump around the corner to a platform with a puddle on the ground.
- Head across the wooden planksthrough the door and up the stairs.
When you reach the top of this penultimate staircase, there's only one challenge between you and the Seva-D suit: sprint-jump across the death pit with little safe landing space. Before attempting the jump, save your game in case something goes wrong.
There is one more staircase after the jump, then you can go southwest to the edge of the cage roof where you will find a small camp, a hideout and most importantly the Seva-D Suit.
Seva-D suit stats
Seva-D is one of the best story campaign armors for several reasons. No, he doesn't have the most artifact slots by default, nor are his stats the highest in the game, but his stat range is incredibly balanced and high for something so “easily” attainable.
- Thermal protection: 1.1
- Electrical protection: 1.4
- Chemical protection: 1.3
- Radiation protection: 2.5
- Protection Dogs: 1.6
- Physical protection: 3.0
The real kick of this suit is his Psi-Protection stat, which is a solid 1.6something few other early armors can boast. There's even a late-game quest that asks if you can find armor with psi resistance, and Seva-D fills that role even when its resistance is depleted.
The Seva-D is relatively light as body armor, weighing only 8 kilograms and it comes with a respectable 3 artifact slots with upgrades available to expand that capacity.
When you put it on, you'll feel the difference compared to anything you've found in the Small Zone, especially in a firefight and when exploring anomaly areas.
You technically don't need any new armor after getting Seva-D, the only reason to switch is situational. The only caveat is that the suit is expensive to repair and if heavily damaged there are over 30,000 repair coupons available.
Be careful not to get to this point and you'll be golden for hours of combat and exploration in the zone.
