Whether it's because you don't like the playstyle or because you want to explore other options, you'll leave Sect Where the winds meet is an essential part of the gaming experience, especially during the early game.
Choosing a sect is a major decision, but fortunately it is reversible. Players can freely experience the game style and culture of all sects in Where the winds meet without being permanently attached to a single one. Here's how the process works.
Where the Winds Meet: How to Fly
Soar through the sky like a true Wuxia martial arts master in Where Winds Meet by completing these requirements.
How to leave sects where the winds meet
Here's how you can leave a sect you've joined Where the winds meet:
-
Open the Start menu and select “Sects.”
-
Click on “Betray the Master” In in the lower right corner of the screen.
-
Choose “Confirm” after the challenge.
To complete the process, you will need to complete a quest to completely sever all ties to the sect. It usually takes the form of a Court of resignation (more details below), with the sole exception of the Nine Mortal Ways Sect. Here are the details:
|

You will be kicked out of the sect immediately and will lose all privileges associated with being a member of that sect. Your sect reputation, sect status and rank, as well as access to the sect shop, will be removed. However, any items, cosmetics, or other goodies you purchased through the Sect Shop will remain. In addition, the weapon that will be offered to you after joining the sect will also remain unlocked.
What are severance judgments where the winds meet?
Severance Trials are a special version Perception of the Forest event in which players who leave their sects are forced to participate. In this mode, Severance Trial participants have a special bounty on their heads, and any player who defeats them will receive additional rewards.
Additionally, participants cannot leave the trial until they either win or die trying. The use of retreat points is prohibited. Leaving exams do not require participants to win to complete the challenge. To complete the Trial of Ward, all players need to do is stay in that match until it is over.
You don't have to wait for a trial to join another sect.
How to Start Severance Lawsuits
Department exams run automaticallyand it is not up to the player to decide when they want to participate in one. After the player leaves the sect and a trial of separation is required, the game will begin looking for active Perception Forest events to engage you in.
Once a suitable match is available, you will be automatically matched without warning. It doesn't matter if you're in Solo or Co-op mode; the game forcefully pulls you into the match. Whether you're in the middle of a quest, a boss fight, or just sitting idle, the Severance Trial takes precedence over everything else.
It can take anywhere one hour to two days to initiate the suspension proceedingsas it entirely depends on how many players are actively playing Perception Forest matches and how many slots are available as a result.
Can you rejoin sects after you leave where the winds meet?
Yes, you can. After leaving the sect you can reconnect after 24 hours (real time) expired. However, when you rejoin a sect, your previous progress such as reputation, merit, and status will not carry over. You will have to start over as a novice apprentice with no reputation and climb up from the bottom.
In addition, after you rejoin a sect, you won't be able to leave again for 6 days. This is a measure to prevent frequent sect-hopping between players, and there is no workaround.
