He is a the game is remarkably fun, but it requires you to be locked throughout the match. One wrong move and you're likely to die. Movement is a crucial aspect of his playstyle, so getting this pact in a practice area is highly recommended before jumping into real matches with him!
Recommended teams
When it comes to building a team that supports Black Panther's playstyle, we love Luna Snow because she can provide constant healing to him even as she charges across the battlefield like a speeding bullet. Besides her, he pairs well with most other characters, but you have to limit his playstyle for him to prosper.
If it was a beta, Magician it wouldn't be so necessary, but she almost feels needed now. While Black Panther is still tough to get down, be able to go back in time a few seconds to reposition and replenish your lost health is huge and will allow you to keep your resistance in check.
Psylocke is also an excellent teammate have next to Magik, as all three can benefit from Team-Up, will allow you to cause mass chaos and damage if implemented correctly. It still won't be a cakewalk to find success with Black Panther, but having these heroes on your team will make it more manageable!

Black Panther V Marvel Rivals Combination
- Spear Throw > Spin Kick > Vibranium Claws > Sprint Rend > Sprint Rend
- Spear Throw > Spin Kick > Sprint Rend > Spear > Sprint Rend > Vibranium Claws > Sprint Rend
- Spear Kick > Spin Kick > Sprint Rend > Sprint Rend > Bast's Descent > Spear Toss > Spin Kick > Sprint Rend > Vibranium Claws > Sprint Rend
Spear Toss into Spinning Kick is the defacto starter for any Black Panther combo as they will be make sure you place the Vibranium markers on the opposition, allowing you to board, use Sprint Rend to deal damage, then use it again to run away scene.
The more complex combos you will have to try mix in a few pieces of his Vibranium Claws and add another Vibranium mark with a second spear throw on your opponent, allowing you to use the regenerated Sprint Rend to regenerate another, help third Sprint Rend to get out of dodge. That's a lot of movement, we know. That's why it's so hard to play.
If you choose Black Panther, be prepared to never stop moving and consistently put pressure on your opposition, how his kit is designed. His actions aren't too hard to hit, but how you have to use them, so keep that in mind the first time you take it!
When to use Bast's descent
Bast's Descent is Black Panther's The ultimate ability in Marvel Rivals, have him summon Bast, the towering panther, to the arena that he deals with significant damage in a wide AoE, attaching Vibranium tags to all targets to strike a complementing Black Panther's Sprint Rend in process.
From this the event will also attach Vibranium Marks to targets hit and refresh his Sprint Rend, we recommend using this action within your combo strings, preferably after using your first renewed Sprint Rend to create space. The the third combination highlighted above is an example what would it look like
Use this ultimate ability wisely and strategically, and don't just throw it away there, like complements Sprint Rend for some reason. When used in conjunction with his other abilities and your teammate's abilities, you will get the most out of it and Black Panther will thrive in the arena!
