From antagonist to friend in his own game, he joins a roster of famous heroes from across Final Fantasy in the fight to save humanity. Gaia feels like a ruthless powerhouse when she has the right set of tools. If played correctly, she's great for creating scenarios for the team and stopping enemies in their tracks.

Gaia is meant to get close to the enemy team and even boss monsters with abilities that help her deal damage, speed, and increase her defense.
You can easily catch members of the opposing team unawares with your increased DEF and SPD, coupled with her already high ATK stat as a melee character. She is great for frontline players who want to get into battle but also be able to survive while giving away big chunks damage.
She debuffs enemies and buffs herselfwhich gives you viable options to take out monsters quickly and completely remove the enemy team from the fight.

Best main abilities
- Diamond Destroyer – Gaia jumps forward and attacks. This greatly lowers enemies' Action SPD and greatly increases her own Action SPD, increasing her ATK.
- The fateful moment – Gaia selects an area and sets up an attack that detonates after 8 seconds. Enemies in the area take heavy damage when shot into the air and their action SPD is reduced.
- A hopeful dance – Gaia charges forward and swings her weapon at the enemy. This works great as a gap sealer.
- Spell-in-Waiting – Gaia slows enemies in front of her in a cone, greatly reducing their action SPD for 5 seconds.
- Heal – Any heal will be enough just to keep Gaia on her feet if you're in the enemy team's tow.

Diamond Duster and Fated Moment are exclusive to Gaia. If you plan to use it, you should reroll your ability options until you get at least one of these options. If you only get one, replace the other with a Heal or low cooldown ability.
Your goal is to use your UR abilities isolate the enemy team member slow them down with Spell-in-Waiting, hurry them up with Hopeful Dance, and follow up with Diamond Destroyer or The Fatal Moment.
They won't be able to get out and their SPD will be reduced while you will be buffed if you use Diamond Disaster.
Yours debuff on themcombined with your ATK, means you will get ready for your party to take out the enemy one by onethen boss damage with your earned Bravery.

While you can't choose who you're paired with, there are certain characters that will work better with Gaia than others. You have several options because she can cover ground by itself, increasing its own SPD and DEFand set up the enemy team to be slow enough for her teammates to follow her.

- Cloud Strife – Cloud, in conjunction with Gaia, deals ridiculous damage to anything in their path. His high ATK, coupled with his ability to stunshe leaves him and Gaius cooperate on incapacity and destroy anything. He can too charge with Gaia and close the distance and destroy the opponent.
- flash – Lightning's SPD makes her a perfect gem and addition to the team. He can run through and clean up any remaining monsters on the field and deal additional damage to them. It also has a wide attack area, dealing high damage with Thunderfall and rush to the point for the team while the other two catch up.

- Cain – Cain makes up for the AoE attacks that Gaia lacks. He can jump and attack wide areas use her Spell-in-Waiting or Fated Moment setup with massive AoE damage after jumping into the pre-detonation area.
- Warrior of Light. Not just her reduce the damage suffered while Gaia tanks hits and deals damage but can also increase the team's ATKallowing them to deal even more ridiculous follow up damage from a set of combos. Supreme Soul it also enables them deals damage when creating combo setups.
