Marvel Rivals brought a phenomenal hero shooter experience. One that is rich in both diverse gameplay between multiple characters and stunning visuals. As the game continues its life cycle, new characters will continue to be added. Season 1 of the game features iconic heroes from The Fantastic Four franchises, one being Mister Fantastic.
Between Marvel Rivals many characters Mister Fantastic is a dualistic character. This means that he will need to be able to move quite quickly and contribute to the team's damage. His best method is to grab and pull into his allies or enemies. Every time a new duelist is released, it's anyone's guess how it will shake up the meta and if it will be one of the best duelists among the game's many maps.

Mr. Fantastic's primary attack in Marvel Rivals
Great Duelists v Marvel Rivals needs a good primary attack. Mister Fantastic's primary attack is the Stretch Punch. While it may not have any kind of secondary attack, it's still surprisingly versatile. This attack is a 3-hit combo. The first 2 punches will use one fist while the last punch will use both hands.
What makes this attack so versatile is that the player can strike early and the extended arm will still deal damage while being pulled by its target. Better yet, it deals damage to all enemies it touches. This means that it is possible to perform numerous attacks in the area of effect using only his primary attack. Another hero whose primary attack often hits multiple enemies is Storm's piercing Wind Blade attack.
Mr. Fantastic's abilities in Marvel Rivals
Mister Fantastic has numerous abilities that he can activate during matches, and players should head to the training room to try them all out. Each will build towards a passive that will give them increased damage output. When this passive is fully charged, it becomes something to truly fear. In addition to these abilities, there are a few important values that players will need to be aware of, such as how much health he has.
Mister Fantastic has a base health of 350but he makes use of a lot of shields, giving him more survivability than you'd expect from a duelist. Another value that players will want to monitor is its elasticity. This is the value that will be visible just below the player's crosshairs. Each of Mister Fantastic's basic attacks will generate 5 elasticity, but players will want this to reach 100 as soon as possible.

Active ability

When used, Mister Fantastic stretches to change the shape of his body into a rectangular shape. It still has the ability to move and absorb all incoming damage. When this ability ends, it initiates the stored damage as an attack where the player's outline is headed.

When activated, Mister Fantastic gains a shield that takes his 350 health up to 425. He pulls towards his target and deals damage to them if they're enemies, or shields them if they're allies. This allows players to decide whether they want to contribute damage to a weakened enemy – or come to the rescue of an ally. This ability has 2 charges if the player needs to use it again before their cooldown ends or if they are about to fill their passive.

Another incredibly versatile ability comes in the form of Distended Grip. When used, Mister Fantastic reaches out and grabs the target. Now there are 3 possible options that the player can use. Players will see 2 options and their buttons. The first is Dash. Using this will draw Mister Fantastic to his target, but without any shield. The second option is Impact. Despite using his fists and having no projectiles. Mister Fantastic should not be grouped together and play a character like Wolverine. There are many melee focused characters, but Mister Fantastic has great reach thanks to his extending limbs.
Using this ability on an enemy already stuck by Mr. Fantastic will cause him to pull the enemy towards him, dealing additional damage to the afflicted enemy. The best opportunity is when another enemy is in sight, as using this ability on them will allow Mister Fantastic to hit that second target as well. He then slams the two flustered enemies into each other, dealing damage to both.

Team ability

20 seconds
This ability only appears when Invisible Woman is part of the player's team. Activating it creates a condition that heals Mr. Fantastic for any health he's lost. This will not grant any shields, so his base health will remain at 350 while active. This can help Mister Fantastic recover lost health between shield uses and further increase his survivability. The Invisible Woman is one of them Marvel Rivals many strategists, so it's a great fit for any team, but even better with The Fantastic Four members.
Elastic strength
With each use of the ability, Mister Fantastic builds elasticity. This will increase the amount of damage it deals. However, once filled to the max, Mister Fantastic will perform a Hulk-style transformation, taking even more damage from his attacks and giving him a significant amount of shielding.
This shield will begin to decay before it deflates to its original form, but the shrinking shield will still be present after it ends. Mister Fantastic won't have access to any of his other abilities while in his inflated state, but this encourages players to make the most of his damage output potential. Failure to do damage will cause the elasticity to begin to decay.
Brainiac Bounce
Mister Fantastic jumps into the air and crashes down, dealing damage in the marked area. It then rebounds to repeat this process several times. This can be devastating to enemies that have grouped together to defend a particular point. There are some tough ultimates to get your bearings Marvel Rivalsbut this is pretty straightforward.

Tips for playing Mister Fantastic in Marvel Rivals
Mister Fantastic may be a duelist, but thanks to his damage mitigation and easy access to shields, he manages to be incredibly lean. Not to mention his passive which gave him a huge amount of shields from using these abilities.
Flexible rebound
A great combination is to follow up on a flexible extension with reflective rubber. Using these two abilities in a row to aid an ally will result in both shields for both the player and their ally, but will also allow the player to tank the enemy threat immediately afterwards. This allows the player's ally some protection before Mister Fantastic releases all stored damage. This can easily overwhelm an inexperienced enemy.
Reflective rubber in a hurry
While using the reflective gum ability is key to triggering elastic force, players can use reflective gum when they don't need to speed up passive builds. This can lead to more usage his bloated stategiving him target presence and damage output for the team.
His shield will stack with other resources, so when inflated after getting a shield boost from two instances of flexible stretch, his health pool can hit a total of 950. This makes him easily a candidate for the highest health characters in the game.
