Fairfield is one of the first major places you will visit Outer worlds 2. The community is managed by Minister Milverstreet and Officer Kaur. Both want the best for Fairfield and are loyal to Auntie's Choice. Apart from these things, however, they are completely different.

Starting the Quest

How to get inside the center
Once you have the gas shield ( Gas-Energy Deflection Apparatus), head to big hole in the wall that gas is coming out of it.
When you get close activate your device and pass gas. The shield only works for a limited time, so don't hold onto the gas; just go straight through.
Sabotage the device
If you sabotage the device, you will automatically fail the Vanquishing the Vexing Vapors quest. However, to complete Above and Beyond Repair, you must perform sabotage.
Once inside, go down the small slope and go through the vent there.
Continue like this until you reach the other side where you will find some robots. Dispose of them.
Then get ready to go to the next room that is filled with gas. So open the door activate the shield and finally run to the terminal.
Open it and select it “seal the room and vent the gas.” This makes the room livable again.
Now, press the following options on the terminal:
- “Access Flow Control System.”
- “Begin stopping the zyranium flow.
- 'Override security and perform shutdown.'
- “Ignore safety and perform a shutdown.”

Return to Kaur
When the location is successfully sabotaged, you can only lusing the door on the left when looking at the terminal.
Then return to Fairfield and talk to Kaur to complete the quest.
