During Chapter 3 Inazuma Eleven: Path of Victory's Story Mode, players must prepare for their battle with the Baseball Club. Part of this preparation is setting Keyman Lockdown into Team Dock's tactics, although the way this is done may not be immediately obvious. This guide is for players who are not sure how to set up Keyman Lockdown Inazuma Eleven: Path of Victoryand also explains how to use tactics in a match.
While players shouldn't have any problems setting up Keyman Lockdown, there is an issue with controlling the game using a keyboard and mouse. This issue will be covered in the final section of this guide, although players are encouraged to use a controller if possible.
How to set up Keyman Lockdown in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
Buy Keyman Lockdown Tactic
The first step to setting up Keyman Lockdown is to purchase the tactic and it can be purchased at Friendly match – At the football club sign on the west side of South Cirrus Junior High. The previous images will help players find the mark, and here's what they should do when they find it:

Communicate with the brand.

Choose Special training stand.

Go to Tactics tab.

Buy Keyman Lockdown for three Zeal Tokens.
Set the Keyman lock
After purchasing a tactic, players should open the menu and go to Team Dock tab up. Players should then look to the bottom left corner of the screen to see “Team Dock RPG”. To the right of this text will be an input and players should press it to insert it Dock SO team menu. Here, players should select one of the empty tactic boxes under their manager's portrait and select Keyman Lockdown from the list that appears to set it up.
How to use Keyman Lockdown in Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road
Inazuma Eleven: Path of Victory players will be instructed to use Keyman Lockdown after the first shot during the Baseball Club duel. While there is a brief in-game guide on how to use the tactic, here's an overview of the process for players who need it:
Driver
Players who use a controller to play Inazuma Eleven: Path of Victory can perform a Keyman lock by performing the following actions:
- Hold L1/LB to make the set tactic appear in the lower right corner of the screen.

Press the input associated with Keyman Lockdown. This should be it Triangle/Y.

Move the joystick towards the target (in this case Thierry). This will cause orange ring move around the field.

When the target is inside the ring, press Confirm input to execute tactics.
Keyboard and mouse
Running Keyman Lockdown on a keyboard and mouse seems like it should be pretty similar to doing it on a controller, and the preliminary steps are. Players should actually hold down Tab to bring up tactical inputs and then press the one associated with Keyman Lockdown to initiate the maneuver. However, the target selection after starting the tactic doesn't seem to work as expected, as players find that can't move said orange ring using the mouse or keyboard. While this issue may be fixed in a future update, here are options that players can currently use to work around it:

Initiating Keyman Lockdown when the character that will use the tactic is directly above the target. This should allow the target to be confirmed without moving anything.

Set up a virtual controller to emulate controller inputs.
