2XKO Caitlyn Champion Recruitment Event Explained

The Caitlyn Champion Recruitment Event is the game's first official event since its full launch, and it's the kind where players can grab a new champion, Caitlyn, the Sheriff of Piltover, for free. This girl with a rifle can take down enemies with kicks and punches to the ground while also targeting their weak spots from a distance, making her a great pick for fights.
To join the Caitlyn Champion Recruitment Event, simply go to the Play section and jump into the matches. You will need 10,000 XP to unlock Caitlyn for free 2XKO and complete her entire recruitment journey.
Since casual matches don't reward much XP by themselves, they shouldn't be the main focus. The best way to clear the event is to complete match-related missions, such as dealing more damage or restoring health (see the Missions tab for details), as these provide a generous amount of experience. The event runs from 22 January to 19 February 2026. After it ends, Caitlyn can only be grabbed like other champions by spending 10,000 green credits.
If you want to get Caitlyn in quickly 2XKO, just complete all three recommended missions for season 1 along with three weekly missions and three daily missions every day for seven days to get 10,000 experience he needed to unlock it.
