Fortnite Showdown Act I was finally completed and Team Ice King secured their first win of the season. While Team Foundation may have taken the loss, there is still a win for both sides both the Ice King's Vault and the Sevenfold Vault are now unlockable. How to Open Ice King's Vault in Fortnite Showdown (Ice King Vault Key Location)
To open the Ice King's vault in Frigid's Keep, players must first find the key to the ice king's vault. This is a legendary item that can only be found around Frigid's Keep. While you might expect to get it by defeating the Ice King, you don't.
Instead, the key to the Ice King's vault appears in one of the many small ruins scattered around the edge of the BZwith several possible spawn locations. See the map above for potential locations.
Once you find the key to the Ice King's vault, head down to the ruins in the Frigid Fortress area in the far southjust before the Rivalry Screen. Here you can interact with the hatch on the floor and hold the key to open it.
Inside the vault you can find several common and rare chests along with ammo crates and Slurp barrels for healing, along with a Port-a-Potty that leads back to the surface. Unfortunately, there are no mythic items in this vault.
How to open Seven Compound Vault in Fortnite Showdown (Seven Compound Vault Key Location)
To open the Sevenfold Vault in New Sanctuary, players will have to find the key to the sevenfold safe. Like the previous key, this item appears in one of several possible locations, all of which are spread around the edges of the POI.
To find it, head for 1 by 1 stacked buildingsall of which have stairs. The key can be found on the top floor of any of these buildings. All possible locations can be found on the map above.
Once you have the key to the seven compound safes, head to the lower level of the New Sanctuary Compound. From there, go to the safe at the other end of the underground part and interact with the keypad to the right of the door. After a short time, the door will open, although sirens will alert nearby players as it unlocks.
Inside the vault, players can you'll find various common and rare chests, along with Slurp Barrels, ammo cratesand a Port-a-Potty that leads back to the surface. Players can too here you will find Power Gloves Mythic Foundationthough it's not a guaranteed spawn.
