Making good money in the morning hours Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen it might be hard, but with the Nugget Bridge financial glitch, you can earn infinite money fast. Since the new FRLG ports are almost exactly the same as when they came out on the Game Boy Advance in 2004, it turns out that this particular technical exploit is still in the files of both games.
Making the most of this glitch requires a very specific process, but soon you can get all the Poké Dollars you need for the entire game. Here is an exact step-by-step guide on how to make money fast using the Nugget Bridge glitch in FRLG.
How To Make Money Using Nugget Bridge Glitch
In Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen, the Nugget Bridge Glitch allows you to quickly earn infinite money by allowing you to take a Nugget from a Rocket Grunt at the end of the Nugget Bridge in Cerulean City, intentionally lose a battle to it, run out, and respawn at the Pokemon Center with a Nugget (worth 5000 Poké Dollars) in your inventory — allowing you to repeat the process again and take as many nuggets until you're satisfied.
How to get to the Nugget Bridge
If you're not already in Cerulean City, you'll need to defeat Rock-Type Gym Leader Brock in Pewter City first. Then you can get to route 3, get to the other side of Mt. Moon a finally getting to Cerulean City after traveling along route 4 to the right.
North of Cerulean City is Nugget Bridge. When you know you are going in the right direction your opponent will meet you at the bottom and challenge you to battle. Defeat him and then you can take on the five trainers scattered across the length of the Nugget Bridge.
Rocket Grunt In Disguise
After defeating the fifth trainer, The NPC with his back to the hedge is a Team Rocket Grunt in disguise. The Nugget he gave you as a prize turns out to be an incentive for him to try to recruit you into a criminal organization.
Your character will automatically say no and Rocket Grunt will want to challenge you to a battle.
But before you talk to him, save your gamereturn to the Pokémon Center, put in your entire team and download only one weak, low-level Pokémon that can be defeated by its level 15 Ekan in one turn and the process of exploiting this glitch is much faster.
in this case we used a level 2 Mankey we chose Route 2. Once Rocket Grunt's Ekans defeats you, you'll turn white and end up back at the Pokémon Center.
Check your bag and see The nugget that Rocket Grunt gave you is still in your bag. You can sell each Nugget to the Poke Mart for 5000 Poké Dollars.
What's more, the rest of your progress still resets to the time before Rocket Grunt gave you the Nugget; so if you don't beat him, he'll give you a free Nugget every time you approach him again after losing.
Replay the glitch for as much money as you want
From the Cerulean City Pokemon Center to running back to Rocket Grunt, getting another Nugget, fighting it, and losing more, it took us about 72 seconds. This means you can get 60,000 Poké Dollars worth of nuggets in just 12 minutes the rinse and repeat infinite finance glitch on Nugget Bridge from FireRed and LeafGreen.
However, before you start exploiting the flaw, go to the Poke Mart and spend the rest of your money for any Poke Balls or other items you need.
This is because you would normally lose some of your money every time you lose a battle, but if you don't have any left when you lose to this Rocket Grunt, you don't lose any extra money in exchange for getting those defective nuggets.

Other ways to make money fast
Amulet coin
If you've already beaten Team Rocket Grunt on Nugget Bridge, unfortunately that means you'll no longer be able to use the infinite money glitch, but there are other ways to make quick money – e.g. using Amulet Coin will double the reward you get from battles.
Specifically, the Amulet Coin is an item that you get from one of Professor Oak's assistants in the Route 16 building, which is west of Celadon City. As long as you have 40 different Pokémon in your Pokédex, it will give you this item instantly and you can give it to any Pokémon you wish to hold.
vs. Seeker
Go to the blue-haired NPC in the Vermillion City Pokemon Center and she'll give you a Vs. Seeker: A key item you can activate a make nearby trainers in your line of sight that you previously defeated want to fight you again.
This means that not only do you get to beat the same trainers multiple times for extra Poké Dollars, but it's also a pretty nifty way to brush up on leveling some of your Pokemon. Pair it with the Amulet Coin and you'll get thousands of extra Poké Dollars after defeating multiple trainers at once.
Sale of other valuables
Along with the Nuggets you can get from the Nugget Bridge Glitch, the FireRed and LeafGreen campaign will also see you find more salable Nuggets along with other valuables – e.g. Large Pearls (worth 5000 Poké Dollars), Stardust (worth 1500), Pearls (1000 each), and Large Mushrooms (2500 each).
If you find any of these and don't have enough cash, take them to the Poke Mart immediately to replenish your funds.
