Time passes exactly as you think Fallout 4and while this isn't usually a problem, you may need to be in-game during certain time windows if you want to progress with certain quests (or if you just want to skip days/nights). Fortunately, as in other Bethesda RPGs, players can skip time Fallout 4 whenever they please, provided they are not abused or shot at, and that there is an actual resting place nearby.
Waiting inside Fallout 4 is a handy feature that allows players to spend time in the game. It's pretty easy, but if you're coming from another Bethesda game, there's one key difference to keep in mind.
Fallout 4: What's the point of no return for each faction?
Those hoping to end all of Fallout 4 in a single playthrough will need to know the point of no return for each of the game's factions.
How to wait in Fallout 4
To skip or insert a time Fallout 4, you have to find somewhere to sitwhether it is a chair or anything similar to a chair. Once you find a place to sit, a prompt will appear on the screen. Press this and you will be able to choose how many hours you can skip in the game.
Alternatively, you can also find and use beds. This is much better than just sitting somewhere, as resting on a bed will give you the Well-Rested perk.
Sleeping on the bed will also restore your health, which is a great way to heal without using valuable items. Interestingly, you don't take Hunger/Thirst damage while sleeping in survival mode.
How to get the well rested perk in Fallout 4
You can get the Well-Rested buff sleeping on any bed for at least one hour. This will increase the XP you get from any source by 10% and last for eight hours in the game. However, there are a few important things you need to know about how it works:
-
You can only get the Well-Rested perk by sleeping on beds you own or rent (including sleeping bags).
-
If you are playing survival mode, you must sleep at least seven hours in your own/rented bed. Sleeping bags cannot be used to gain the Well-Rested benefit due to a limit on how long you can sleep on them.
-
Well-Rested will also give you a bonus to your AGI and END when playing in survival mode.
-
-
If you are romantically involved with FO4 companion, you can sleep on the same bed as them. This turns Well-Rested into Lover's Embrace, increasing the XP bonus to 15%.
