Mad Max came out twice at the wrong time. First, it didn't come out alongside the biggest summer blockbuster of 2015, Mad Max: Fury Road. Then when he finally started, he was beside himself Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain. Mad Max seemingly couldn't win, and while not as action-packed as the movie it's tied to, it's the best game based on the franchise yet. There are great car fights, a world full of sick people, and the gunfights aren't bad either.
