Intergalactic: The Heretical Prophet is set to be the next big thing The last of us developed by Naughty Dog. The first new IP studios in over ten years, Intergalactic it also takes a different approach with its narrative premise compared to other Naughty Dog titles. But while it is to be expected IntergalacticWith a high sci-fi premise that allows for different storytelling, it doesn't need to be that far removed in tone or style from the company's previous releases.
Since the first release Uncharted Back in 2007, Naughty Dog emphasized high-fidelity graphics, well-tuned character animations, and top-notch acting, all in the service of creating a blockbuster-like experience. Naughty Dog games are often compared to movies, and while these comparisons can sometimes be reductive, there's definitely some truth behind them: Naughty Dog's stories are evocative and exciting, and their characters are engaging and friendly. Nowhere are these qualities more evident than in Uncharted series that carries a touch of an Indiana Jones adventure thanks to funny dialogues, likeable characters and ironic humor. From what is available about him so far, it seems so Intergalactic they could channel the same strengths.

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet Could Mark Naughty Dog's return to comedy
Uncharted games are often relentlessly fun
Although it would not be entirely accurate to label Uncharted games like comedies definitely borrow a lot from this genre. Dramatic, high-stakes stories are a staple of these games, but the moment-to-moment narrative is typically lighthearted, almost aloof, with characters naturally riffing off one another to provide ample opportunity for jokes. It is through these tonal dimensions that Uncharted games pay homage to the like Indiana Jones and Mummywhich use comedy to balance the danger of their subversive plots.
This writing style may be the reason Unchartedan inheritance is significantly different from an inheritance The last of uswho is downright spartan in his joking. Basically such a game The last of us is more likely to depress someone because of the bleakness of its narrative and the sour qualities of its characters, whereas Uncharted tends to put a smile on your face. WITH Intergalacticcan Naughty Dog find a way back UnchartedThe style of doing things like the adventures of the protagonist Jordan A. Muno, the bounty hunter, could very well be imitated by the adventures of Nathan Drake. The noble nature of Mun's interactions with the only other character in the trailer also hints at a return to the buddy comedy angle that Uncharted performs so effectively.
None of this means that Uncharted the series cannot have an emotionally evocative narrative –Uncharted 4 proves otherwise – but the show's tone is undeniably more frivolous than anything like that The last of us.
A lighter comedic story would be a nice change of pace after The Last of Us 2
The last of us 2 is unpleasant in many ways. Regardless of what one thinks of the franchise, it's hard to argue that sheer violence, hatred, and despair don't define these games, especially their sophomore releases. Characters are far more likely to kill or curse at each other than to crack jokes, and even characters who are supposed to like each other are prone to bickering and conflict.
Intergalactic: The Heretical Prophet could have washed that sour taste out of gamers' mouths and reminded audiences of what Naughty Dog can achieve when it doesn't take itself too seriously. Nobody wants to Intergalactic the story is shallow, but the injection of humor that Naughty Dog has already proven to be one of its strengths would certainly be a welcome return.
