Battlefield 6 it has its share of fun references, whether it's the dinosaur toy at the start of the game BF6 a campaign that calls back Battlefield 3 or some Dead universe honors on the menu. However, players have recently uncovered a truly strange secret in the multiplayer map New Sobek City, as there is an alien skull mixed in among all the trash and debris. This large elongated alien head (discovered by Easter egg hunter Edwaxed and shared on Reddit by PeanutIllustrious) is covered in strange markings that the community has been trying to decipher, and so far fans have two theories about what this random mystery could indicate.
The first possibility is that this is the beginning of another Phantom program, a complex ARG that takes place in several Battlefield games and rewards unique cosmetics or weapons such as the Phantom Bow. If that's the case, players will soon find themselves solving complex puzzles both in-game and on the website, working together to discover what secret rooms and quests BF Studios has planned for them. However, the use of an alien skull specifically, as opposed to the split human skull traditionally associated with the fictional Phantom faction, means that this easter egg could suggest something else entirely. Specifically, some players think it's the Alien game mode Battlefield 6 can be immediate.
There's even an argument for Aliens vs. Dinosaurs to be closer to what the mode actually is, as the T-Rex skull can also be found on the outskirts of Sobek. he said that Battlefield has always toyed with dinosaurs, while the aliens trailer seems to be a bit bolder.
Would Battlefield 6 fans even like the Aliens mode?
Given all the backlash to unrealistic skins Battlefield 6it's hard to imagine the older members of the fanbase would appreciate a hypothetical Soldiers vs. Aliens. Complaints about such an immersion-breaking feature would undoubtedly arise once such a mode was announced BF6 certainly accused of “losing the plot” in the same way as Black Ops 7 The campaign was launched online for boss fights. All players who want realism Battlefield 6 would shun the mode and criticize Battlefield Studios for spending the time and resources to create it when there is so much demand for add-ons like large maps. However, this does not automatically mean that the mod cannot work Battlefield had already successfully experimented before.
Battlefield 2142 is a cult classic, with futuristic warfare and mechs being a relatively new concept for a major FPS at the time of its release in 2006. Battlefield: Hardlineanother cult classic, it was released in 2015 and focused on the concept of cops vs. Neither of these games were traditional Battlefieldbut they had their fans, which shows that the more open-minded half of the community would surely be interested in them. And with the existing Battlefield portal and players creating everything Cod map remasters to the top racing tracks in it, Battlefield 6 already provides access to content that goes against the normal multiplayer tone. Until the alien mode got its own lore and was kept separate from the main one Battlefield Timeline, anyone not interested in the concept could ignore it and even win over some doubters if there was enough passion behind it. Surely Battlefield Studios would find ways to make the mode feel like a proper BF experience.
What could Battlefield 6 Alien game mode look like?
AND Battlefield 6 an alien mode could lean on a concept the game only scratches the surface of through bot lobbies and portal creations: PvE. A co-op experience pitting a group of players against hundreds of invaders from another planet can be incredible, especially if BattlefieldUser trademark features have been implemented into this mode:
-
Vehicles could see players shooting at UFOs from the ground in Tanks, or experienced pilots could chase them with Battlefield 6's jets for some unique dogfights.
-
The destruction could showcase the power of alien weapons, blasters tore apart buildings and UFO beams tore structures apart.
- BattlefieldLarge-scale warfare could see more than the usual four-player co-op offered through the alien mode, with multiple parties of four potentially supported.
- Battlefield portal could have allowed for an infinite alien mode, as if BF Studios were to give creators access to alien models and behaviors, players could create more maps for years.
- BattlefieldThe class system could provide players with four different roles within the mode, with special gadgets that are manually linked for that mode. Think of the underrated Extinction from mode Call of Duty: Ghosts.
While many have long requested Dino mode Battlefield 6The reality is that the variety of enemies would be quite limited, as almost every enemy – be it flyers, small dinosaurs attacking in packs, or huge creatures – would be a melee attacker. With Aliens there is room for Battlefield to the wilderness with otherworldly vehicles, armored enemies, ranged and melee attackers, animals controlled by smarter aliens, and so on. The alien faction would be the gift that keeps on giving for the co-op mode BF6because BF Studios could be as creative as they want with their arsenal of antagonists.
Battlefield 6's aliens could be his answer to CoD zombies
As Battlefield 6 and Black Ops 7 It turns out that the rivalry between the two biggest military FPS series of all time seems destined to continue forever, and an alien-focused PvE mode would finally allow BF Studios to face Codthe most unique content. It could borrow a few concepts from Treyarch's popular survival mode, from bikes and hidden easter egg quests to a new wonder weapon being added to every official map. Basically, there's a case to be made for alien mode to be more serious and resemble something like PS3-era Insomniac Resistance trilogy, but could just as easily imitate it Cod A zombie mix of humor, madness and mystery. Either way, his story could be told through radios and secret messages, as the Phantom programs of the past have shown that BF Studios would be able to old-school Cod A zombie narrative if it wanted to go that route.
While Cod Zombies can be lightning in a bottle and success BF6 Alien mode may not be able to capture the same magic, there's no way to know how it would work until it's tried. Battlefield RedSec as a free-to-play battle royale experience it's done pretty well, so maybe Battlefield 6 could eat until Call of Duty's territory even more with a mode reminiscent Cod Zombies. At the very least, it would be interesting to see an attempt, and with BF Studios made up of multiple teams, it looks like a real personality. For now, though, the Alien game mode remains speculation based on a random skull found on the multiplayer map, as there's no evidence that it's anything more than a fun gag. Maybe players will soon figure out what the purpose of the skull is and if anything actually happens once it's shot and broken, but the Alien mode is just a fun fan theory at the time of writing.
