This article contains spoilers from the Boruto series.
Boruto: Two Blue Vortexes moves at lightning speed and new battles unfold with each new chapter. Fans absolutely love the fights the author has illustrated over the past two years, and the latest arc focusing on Shinju and Boruto Uzumaki is incredibly exciting at the moment. As Mamushi's attack on Konoha became more and more severe, fans knew that they were in for some very exciting battles in this story. Actually, Mamushi's fight against Boruto Uzumaki has been highlighted enough so far.
Boruto: Why Naruto Uzumaki will be stronger than ever after his return in the two blue vortexes
Naruto Uzumaki returns stronger than ever in Boruto. Fans can't wait for his return to stroy.
Boruto Uzumaki has collected several of his clones and more are coming. interesting enough Boruto came under fire from fans in a recent chapter, and rightfully so. For any series, powerscaling is a pretty important thing that an author has to be careful about especially when it comes to shonen. For Boruto, this concept is completely broken, and this is especially evident in the latest chapter where some of the weakest characters somehow managed to defeat some of the strongest.
Boruto introduced many large monsters in the series

The Shinju are the strongest fighters in the Boruto series

Otsutsuki continues to be a big threat
The Boruto series has done incredibly well to introduce many massive monsters into the story. When the series started, fans like Momoshiki Otsutsuki and his relatives were introduced. Later, the Inners of Kara were introduced into the story, each of them posing a significant threat to Boruto Uzumaki as well as the ninja world in general. As time went on, more of these monsters appeared in the story, and since then they have steadily grown stronger.
Currently, the greatest threat facing the ninja world comes in the form of the Shinju, monsters born from the Tentails through the power of the Code. Shinju are known to be incredibly powerful. When they first debuted in the story, it was very clear to fans that their abilities were on a completely different level compared to the vast majority of characters. Even Code, who at the time had his powers fully unlocked after meeting Amado, fought in the battle against Shinju. Boruto Uzumaki, who at this point was training with Sasuke Uchiha and later with Kashin Koji, also struggled to deal with Shinju.
The story at this point made it clear that the Shinju were on a completely different level compared to the vast majority of threats the Boruto series had seen. This is why their threat was perceived as great as it was. Every single Shinju was canonically stated to be stronger than the average Otsutsuki, and that made them truly special. However, in future chapters of the Boruto manga, it seems that this special factor has now been taken away from them. For some reason the Shinju are no match for normal shinobi who shouldn't be able to reach that level of power in the first place. At this point Boruto's powerscaling doesn't make any sense at all.
Powerscaling in Boruto makes no sense at all

Boruto completely broke Powerscaling
When the ordeal with Shinju began, fans were quite confused as to how some normal shinobi could match Shinju's power. At the time, fans didn't pay much attention to it. Over time, however, it became increasingly clear that the author does not care about proper powerscaling, or is very bad at it. For example, when the Sand Village arc happened, for some reason Boruto Uzumaki and his teammates initially fought against Shinju. This was a pretty clear sign from the author that the Shinju were on a completely different level, and it was required at the time since the author had previously stated that they were Otsutsuki level threats.
I understand that. You have no hope for the future. You just want to kill me and disappear from this world as soon as possible. That is, if you don't have a chance to get your freedom. These divine beings are a threat to both of us. will you help me or not — Boruto Uzumaki Momoshiki Otsutsuki, Boruto: TBV Chapter 29
Naruto: Kishimoto has already set up Naruto and Sasuke's next fight and it's their biggest battle yet
Naruto and Sasuke are currently sealed away. But in the end, the biggest battle awaits them in Boruto.
However, it was rather strange to see later like Araya, Yodo and others were able to match Shinju in power. Fans thought it was a coincidence, but later even Konohamaru managed to almost kill one of the Shinjuand fans know that Konohamaru isn't even as strong as the average Kage, yet he somehow took someone down to Otsutsuki's level.
Mamushi broke Boruto's Powerscaling
In the following arc, Ikemoto did something even crazier. When Mamushi attacked Konoha, it was very clear that he was going to cause all kinds of trouble for the shinobi of the village, mainly due to his incredible ninjutsu. Mamushi has a special ability to split into multiple clones. However, his clones are not just ordinary shadow clones. When a person uses shadow clones, their chakra is divided equally and their power is also divided. This is one of the biggest drawbacks of using any clone type technique. But this is not the case for Mamushi.
Mamushi's ability is to increase his numbers at will. He doesn't lose power or chakra when he does this. But there is a downside. The more he divides, the more his intelligence decreases. — Kashin Koji
This is because Mamushi's power does not split at all when he clones himself, nor does his chakra reserve. The only thing that goes down is his intelligence, as made clear repeatedly in the story. This means that when Mamushi cloned himself more than fifty times, his power did not decrease even one iota, and all fifty clones were equal to the power of the Otsutsuki level he was introduced with.
Chocho was able to take down Mamushi's Otsutsuki level clones
-
Chocho is a very weak genin
-
Her powers don't make sense
Now, in the latest chapter of Boruto, fans have seen little characters like him Chocho somehow took down these Otsutsuki level clones in battle with a simple expanding jutsuand that makes absolutely no sense. Chocho shouldn't be strong enough to destroy Otsutsuki level threats. Of course, it goes without saying that the intelligence of Mamushi's clones has dropped dramatically, but that still doesn't mean they should fall from the one Expansion Jutsu that Naruto 1st volume characters can perform.
Otsutsuki should have much more durability as well as enough strength to kill people even if their intelligence is extremely low. This makes absolutely no sense and ruined Boruto's scaling forever.
Boruto needs better writing direction
Powerscaling in Boruto didn't make any sense at first, but it makes even less sense in the last chapter of the manga. Fans assumed that as Boruto Uzumaki, Sarada Uchiha and many other new generation characters have already surpassed the likes of Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke.but looking at the current state of events, with even Chocho taking down Otsutsuki-level enemies, it's clear that Naruto would absolutely destroy these characters with ease, just like Sasuke.
This gives fans new hope that these characters will be monstrously powerful when they return. But at the same time, it also means that the power scaling in the series is beyond repair at this point, and there's nothing any fan can do about it.
