Keanu Reeves is officially lending his “look, voice and more” to the game, and the announcement mentions the appearance of “familiar characters fans already know and love” as well as new characters created specifically for this new adventure. The blog post also claims that Saber Interactive's design will be faithful to the source material and will include “a distinctive gun fu combat system, stunning camerawork, immersive driving experiences, and a variety of memorable environments.”

While Saber Interactive has been developing and publishing video games since the early 2000s, it has gained more notoriety in recent years with many licensed projects in development and already released. One of the most popular games from Saber Interactive over the past few years has been the game 2024 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marines 2which Saber has already confirmed is getting a sequel.
