One of the most interesting abilities Joy Boy had was The voice of all things. This power basically allowed Joy Boy to hear the voice of all inanimate things and even animals. Joy Boy could understand and communicate with them. At the same time, it would also allow him to bond with powerful individuals like Zunesha or characters like Emeth. The power of the Voice of All Things still remains unknown in One Piece. Fans surely know that it can also be used in combat. Joy Boy had this ability invented and may be the only character so far to do it in the One piece.

Joy Boy was a user of Hito Hito no Mi, model: Nika. Of course, while many individuals believe that Joy Boy had these powers without eating the Devil Fruit, it was already confirmed in the story that he was a user of this power. This is simply because Gorosei clearly mentioned v One piece chapter 1044 this devil fruit has not awakened for centuries. This basically means that this Devil Fruit was awakened a long time ago, which also means that this Devil Fruit existed during the Void Century and was eaten by someone who fans now know to be Joy Boy.
Essentially, Joy Boy is confirmed to be Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika, and with his base form he could use stretching and shrinking abilities and potentially use performance similar to Luffy's Gear 2, Gear 3 and Gear 4.
Devil Fruit Awakening

Joy Boy was able to awaken his Devil Fruit. It was again confirmed by the Five Elders in One piece chapter 1044. He was the last user to awaken the fruit before Luffy and had the same abilities as him, meaning he was freedom fighter also. Joy Boy had the power of Gear 5 at his disposal, which meant he fought with immense freedom and joy, while his imagination was the only limitation.
This is exactly why Joy Boy was as terrifying as he was, and why the World Government feared him as deeply as they did. His true powers have yet to be revealed in One Piece, but fans will see them soon.

quite easily one of the most powerful abilities Joy Boy had at his disposal was his brilliant Haki. He was a user of all three types of Haki and the strongest of them was definitely the Conqueror's Haki. Joy Boy's Haki is the best that fans have seen in One Piece. Recently, in the Egghead Arc, it was revealed that Joy Boy sealed his strongest Haki inside Emeth.
When Emeth unleashed this Haki, it was so powerful that it was negated the yokai powers of all five eldersthey canceled their summons, eliminated all marines in the vicinity except vice admirals and above, and uniquely split the sky. So far it is greatest Haki performance which fans have seen all of One Piece and is clearly on a whole other level.
Scientific aptitude
Joy Boy could have scientific powers
Most fans assumed that Joy Boy was a character with the same moveset as Luffy. This couldn't be further from the truth. Joy Boy was from the science kingdom. In fact, he came from the most prosperous kingdom of his time, which is even more advanced in the society that exists in the World of One Piece today. As such, Joy Boy's scientific prowess must have been second to none.
He was the one taking care of Emethand he knew the powers of science entrusted to him. Joy Boy could even have a coat hanger leg and robotic arm based on the silhouette. Either way, he had the power of science available, which he used in an unknown way. He even had access ancient weapons and it was he who wanted to pass them on to the next generations. Ancient Weapons can also be considered part of his arsenal. Hopefully, as the story explores Joy Boy's character even more, fans will find out what he used the power of science for.
