The face was Gojo Satoru JJK for quite a long time. Not only was he the most popular character in the series, he also represented Japan as their most powerful wizard, meaning he was almost a deterrent against any other force. Even against the Curse King, Gojo was Japan's best bet, and when their battle finally came, Gojo eventually lost his life. At the same time, however, he paved the way for a new generation to take the lead.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Sukuna's 20 Strongest Powers

From the end JJKfans wondered who the most powerful wizard really was. There were signs Yuji is the strongest after Gojobut now that Yuji is missing, it seems Gege Akutami created another Japanese wizard of the Gojo level already. This wizard is none other than Yuka Okkotsu, Yuta's granddaughter.
Gojo Satoru was the strongest wizard in JJK
In the original JJK series, Satoru was quite easily the strongest wizard. He was born into the Gojo clan, but under very strange circumstances. Gojo had access to a special unlimited cursed technique and was even born with six eyes to add to that. This combination reappeared for the first time in 400 years, and the mere birth of Goja shook the world itself.
Over the years, Gojo trained tirelessly and displayed his ultimate strength, which he then used against the Curse King Sukun. It goes without saying that Gojo was Sukun's equal, but thanks to that Sukuna had ten shadows at his disposalGojo couldn't win against him. He eventually lost his life in battle against Ryomen Sukuna, but he definitely paved the way for the next generation to win.
Yuka Okkotsu is currently Japan's most powerful wizard
69 years after the end of the Shinjuku settlement, Japan now has another Gojo-level wizard, and that is none other than Yuka Okkotsuyounger sister of Tsurugi and granddaughter of Yuta and Maki. This was confirmed by the author himself when the conflict between Simurians and humans worsened in Japan.

When the Simurans requested a duel between the strongest wizards of both sides, Japan chose Yuka Okkotsu as their best bet. The main reason was the fact that Yuka has access to one of the most special cursed techniques in existence, the Ten Shadow Technique.
Yuka has access to the Ten Shadow Technique
As the story makes abundantly clear, Yuka Okotsu was born with the power of the Ten Shadow Technique. This means that Megumi most likely died before she was born. Yuka being born with the Ten Shadow Technique gives her the power of the Divine General Mahoraga, plus all the other interesting Shikigami as well.

primarily Mahoraga becomes her greatest ally in battlegiven that it is a calamity that can adapt to any phenomenon that exists. Mahoraga played a significant role in the death of Gojo Satoru, and without him, Sukuna most certainly would not have won the battle. Having such a weapon in Yuka's arsenal makes her tremendously powerful. But even more surprising is that Yuka has more than just Mahoraga in her arsenal.
Yuka can become the next Gojo with Rika and the Ten Shadows
It was already confirmed in JJK Modulo that Rika belongs to none other than Yuka Okkotsu. Even though the ring is held by her brother, she will eventually gain access to it, meaning Yuka will have access to both Rice, which would give her the Copy Cursed Technique, as well as the Ten Shadows Technique.
With two incredibly powerful disasters at his disposal, Yuka will be a Gojo-level wizard and she might even surpass his level. We absolutely must not forget that Yuka also recently made a Binding Vow and this allows her to greatly increase her power in exchange for something.

What exactly Yuka gave up is not yet known, but fans know that she is much stronger than before. With all these improvements, Yuka will most certainly become Japan's next Gojo.
A sequel to Jujutsu Kaisen, called Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, runs in Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine. The series takes place 68 years in the future, after the events of the Shinjuku Showdown. The main characters of Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo are Yuka and Tsurugi Okkotsu, the grandsons of Yuta and Maki. Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo Chapter 15 will be released on December 14, 2025.
