This post contains spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen.
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 is slowly coming to a close. The anime has already released eight episodes and only four are left before Culling Game Part 1 reaches its conclusion. In the latest episode, fans saw Hiromi Higuruma, one of the two contestants who managed to score 100 points.
Jujutsu Kaisen: Why Season 3 Will Have the Biggest Fights Yet
How is Jujutsu Kaisen trying to be bigger than the Shibuya incident? Of course, there is only a huge battle royale going on all over the country.
Itadori and Megumi wanted to meet Higuruma, but their plans were foiled due to Kenjaku's barrier and the Culling Game participants. While Itadori was tricked into Higuruma's place, Megumi was seduced and taken to Reggie. Because of this, only Itadori met Higuruma Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 8.

Higuruma will be fighting Itadori in the upcoming episode
In JJK Season 3 Episode 8, Itadori met Higuruma who was relaxing in a bathtub in a suit. At first glance, Higuruma seemed like a shady person, but doubts were removed shortly after his story was revealed. Before waking up as a wizard, Higuruma used to be a lawyer who defended wrongly accused people. He tried his best to save them from punishment, but he was powerless before the judge and jury. As the Culling game began, Higuruma awakened the power to summon Judgeman, a Shikigami who was completely loyal to him.
Back in the present, Itadori tried his best to convince Higuruma to let him use the points to stop the garbage game. He highlighted the fact that the Culling game will end up killing countless people. The old Higuru might have liked this argument, but the current version was very against it as he preferred things the way they were. While not perfect, the cleanup game allowed him to pass judgment on people who were evil and deserved punishment. So he refused Itadori's request. With no other option left, Itadori challenged Higuruma. The latter opened his domain without hesitation, indicating that he did not want to let things drag on.
The Power of Hiromi Higuruma
Since Higuruma has mastered the use of domain extension, it is safe to say that he is a strong character who does not hold back against his opponent. His physical abilities remain a mystery, but it cannot be denied that Higurum's cursed techniques are likely overpowered. In Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 Episode 9, Higuruma displays the full power of his domain, as does Judgeman. Based on the preview from episode 9, it appears that Itadori Yuji will be judged by the Shikigami and must present an argument.

It also implies that either the domain or the Shikigami will disrupt the cursed energy of the target, so Itadori will definitely suffer. At the same time, Higuruma is heard praising Itadori's determination. He didn't expect Itadori to hold his position after making him unable to use the cursed energy. Another notable statement from the trailer is that Itadori loses the initial trial and asks for another chance. It remains unclear whether Itadori will receive a new trial.
Since Higuruma was able to gain the upper hand against a talented mage like Itadori, it reaffirms the fact that he is an exceptionally powerful individual.
If Higuruma can use his ability to stop the target from using cursed energy, then it shouldn't be a problem for him to win the fight. Much of this is speculative of course, but fans will have a better idea of Higuruma's power when episode nine comes out.
Itadori needs Higuruma's help
While it cannot be denied that Itadori and Higuruma will fight in JJK Season 3 Episode 9, it is worth remembering that the former needs the help of a lawyer. Without Higuruma's points, Itadori won't be able to add a new rule to Culling, which means a lot of people will die. So his best bet is to try to stay alive and somehow convince Higuruma that the world was better before the Culling Game.
