Director of one of the best Soulslike 2023, Lies Pconfirmed more details about the enhanced version of the game coming to PlayStation 5 Pro. Largely considered the best Soulslike released last year, Lies P impressed fans of the genre so much that it is considered the best Souls game not made by FromSoftware. The studio behind it, Neowiz, has confirmed that it is working on DLC Lies P and a sequel is also in the works.

Last month, Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 Pro, a mid-generation refresh kit that will be released on November 7. It comes in at a whopping $699, two hundred dollars more than the entry-level PS5 that launched four years ago, the PlayStation 5 Pro. it will offer two TB of storage, an improved GPU, advanced ray tracing and other bells and whistles. This is certainly great news for Lies P fans on the console, but Choi refrained from providing exact numbers for the game's performance improvements. So whether Lies P4K60 or 4K120 performance mode is not yet known. It will be interesting to see if the PS5 Pro will be able to help Lies P reach 120 FPS, although such a high frame rate is mostly used in more competitive FPS games. Quality mode's exact frame rate also remains unknown, though it likely won't reach 60 FPS. Those exact numbers will likely be revealed before the PS5 Pro launches in November.
