LEGO launches March 2026 with 25 new sets

25 new LEGO kits are available for purchase starting today, March 1st. The early March 2026 wave, which includes 12 LEGO themes and nine age categories, will soon be followed by even more products due to arrive later this month.

LEGO has historically released products in waves throughout the year, most often in January, March, June and August. February and October waves are also a fairly regular occurrence, although they are generally smaller than the others. These releases tend to follow a consistent pattern, with direct-to-consumer products typically launching on different dates than mass retail items. The former usually come on the first day of the month, while the latter are less predictable and generally chaotic. The January 2026 LEGO wave contained approximately 180 sets, including promotional items that were not sold directly but were offered as part of the company's traditional “Gift with Purchase” offers.

The second LEGO Wave of 2026 is now out

The second wave of LEGO 2026 sets kicked off on March 1 with 25 new direct-to-consumer releases. The products include 12 LEGO themes, including Batman, Technic, Speed Champions and Ninjago. The most affordable products include three Batmobile models, each priced at $29.99. The the most affordable set from the March 1st wave is 42225 Yellow Motorcycle, a simple 151-piece set designed for ages seven and up.

All new LEGO sets released on March 1, 2026

Most March 1 sets contain less than 1,000 pieces. The only exceptions are 77093 Ocarina of Time – The Final Battle, 43020 FIFA World Cup Official Trophy, 42228 McLaren MCL39 F1 Car and 40955 Maersk Dual-Fuel Container Vessel. They are also the most expensive offerings in LEGO's latest product wave, selling for $229.99 for the McLaren model, $149.99 for the Container Ship model, and $129.99 for the Zelda set and $199.99 for the FIFA trophy. While the price difference between the Maersk dual-fuel vessel and the McLaren MCL39 F1 Car may seem significant given the similar number of units, it reflects their different target audiences and design complexity. The McLaren is an adult-oriented LEGO Technic set, while the 12+-rated Container Ship has a much more repetitive build, mostly consisting of identical containers.

Several LEGO sets originally planned for a March 1 release have been delayed. These include the 43300 Winnie the Pooh, $149.99, 1,399-piece build now scheduled for March 19. Another Disney set, 43305 Piggy's Birthday Fun, is in the same boat. 31220 Art Monet Lily Pads has also been pushed back to March 4th.

Orders for most LEGO sets from the March 1 wave are limited to three per customer, a long-standing company practice to prevent scalpers. The only exception is the Maersk 40955 dual-fuel container vessel, which is limited to two orders per customer.
