Grenades and traps are a big part ARC Raiders'combat. They either offer some kind of support aid, such as marking the locations of enemies, or they blow up the entire area to get rid of the danger. Their effectiveness is based on how players use them during combat. Still, there are obvious explosives that are too useful to ignore. List of explosive levels in ARC Raiders
ARC Raiders Explosives Tier List Update (January 2026)
Light impact grenade is a great choice when you are going for a low-budget load ARC Raiders. You can spam it at enemies to hurt them, drive them out of cover, and destroy their traps.
Heavy incendiary grenades deals serious damage, but takes time to detonate, giving enemies enough time to get out of blast range. This is the main reason they don't have S-Tier explosives in them ARC Raiders. The same goes for Snap Blast Grenadethough it sticks to surfaces and enemies on contact, making it harder to avoid. As regards Shrapnel grenadeworks exactly like the Heavy Fuze Grenade, but costs less, deals less damage, and has a smaller radius.
Blaze Grenade she's amazing for taking out raiders from cover or destroying ARC enemies. In addition to doing decent damage, it also burns enemies, putting them in a state where it's harder for them to defend themselves. It's an S-Tier grenade ARC Raiders.
Blaze Grenade Trap it's less effective, but can do the same job if enemies walk right into it. Fireball Burner it's the same, but doesn't have the same damage, utility, and radius, making it a tedious quick-use item instead of a useful one.
The best loadout for every map in ARC Raiders
Going to the top in ARC Raiders requires a solid loadout to handle both ARC enemies and enemy PvP players.
Parade it does its job by controlling the fight for a few seconds and forcing raiders to relocate and fight from cover. It is also one of the best grenades to use against ARC enemies as it stuns them for a long time. The Shock mine it has similar effects but works better in PVP where you can set it to completely disable a raider when you expect them to push.
The Gas grenade, Gas grenade trapand Gas mine work similarly to taking over the area and depleting the raiders' stamina. They also slightly block the view of enemies and put them at a disadvantage. They are cheap and will do the job of higher level grenades, but not as well. Of the three, the gas grenade trap is the weakest as it is easily detected by raiders. You need to set it in areas where the game forces animations, such as after a zipline or tight jump.
For some reason, explosive mine it has a rare trap classification while dealing barely any damage. You have to build it, wait for the raider to reach it, and then deal massive damage. It can still be a useful mine when you stack them side by side, but there are plenty of better options out there. However, when we are talking about a completely useless mine, there is nothing more worthless ARC Raiders than Pulse mine. He only exists to slightly push enemies, for memes.
For laying traps, Synthetic fuels is a much better option as you can find them during raids and stack them to blow them up once the raiders get close to your position.
The Lure Grenade and Trap for grenade decoys draw ARC enemies towards the target area. The Lure Grenade shines because you can throw it directly at enemies and watch arcs swarm around them. However, the trap is much less effective because it is easy to spot and requires precise placement in advance. It's just too tedious to justify using.
The Li'l Smoke Grenade, Smoke grenadeand Smoke grenade trap are solid options to blind enemies around you. A smoke grenade can cover a wide area, giving you and your team time to turn, push into melee, or disengage completely. The Li'l Smoke Grenade offers the same effect with a shorter duration and smaller radius, making it a cheap but reliable tool for low-budget raids. As for the smoke grenade trap, it suffers from the same problem as other traps. You have to anticipate enemy movement to get value out of it. Not worth the investment when Smoke Grenade and Li'l Smoke Grenade are more consistent options.
The Seeker Grenade is a mini version Wolf packwhich is one of the best explosives ARC Raiders. It has less range and damage than the Wolfpack, but is much cheaper. It's the perfect explosive to deal with small ARC flying enemies like hornets and wasps. But when it comes to the big ones, you need a monster like the Wolfpack that can tear the ARC apart.
Speaking of epic explosives, Period is a really strong trap ARC Raiders. After a few seconds, it explodes and completely wipes out the entire area, including any raider or ARC enemy in its radius.
Which items are safe to recycle in ARC Raiders?
Here are the items you can safely dispose of in ARC Raiders.
The Run 'Nade he's broken and needs a quick nerf because it's just not fair how good he is. One 'Nade trigger is enough to terrorize the entire team and send them running with their tails between their legs. It is currently the best grenade ARC Raidersand there's no reason not to start each raid with a Trigger 'Nades or two.
The Tagging Grenade it works in some situations where enemies are hard to find but you know they are there. It's also great to use with smoke grenades as they block the view, while label grenades highlight enemy locations and movements.
Finally, Trailblazer is underwhelming in PVP fights, but shines against ARC ground enemies. It's an expensive quick-use item and not the most reliable explosive to have in your inventory. All of this lowers the Trailblazer's rating in this one ARC Raiders list of explosives levels.
