Naruto Uzumaki is one of the strongest ninjas to ever exist in the Naruto series. Although he started his journey as a weak ninja, Naruto continued to overcome all limits and became the strongest ninja at the end of the original story. Even in Boruto series, Naruto Uzumaki is incredibly powerful and has even reached newer heights of power with abilities like Baryon Mode.

Many other shinobi had the opportunity to surpass him, and not one, but four new ninjas had so far managed to leave him in the dust. This may come as a shocker to fans, but Naruto's behavior has not been great in the Boruto series lately, which is why many characters have passed him by.
Sasuke Uchiha

Sasuke Uchiha is Naruto's greatest rival and also his best friend. Fans know very well that Sasuke is incredibly powerful and Kishimoto always claimed that the two were equally powerful. In fact, at the beginning of the Boruto series, both Naruto and Sasuke were equal in terms of power. Afterwards, Naruto surpassed Sasuke when he unlocked Beryon Mode, and they both lost their greatest powers right after. Naruto lost access to Kurama while Sasuke lost the Rinnegan.
At this point, it could be assumed that the two were even. However, after Naruto was sealed by Kawaki, Sasuke was in the wild training his abilities to fight Otsutsuki. Sasuke trained Borutobut Boruto's guide also confirms that Sasuke trained by himself as well.
The results of these training sessions were immediately apparent in the Two Blue Vortex. At this point in the story Sasuke Uchiha became strong enough to rival the Codewho had several Claw Grimes at his side. Sasuke even took one of Code's eyes, which is very impressive considering Code was supposed to be stronger than Jigen at this point.
Sasuke couldn't even touch Jigen, even with his Rinnegan in the past. Considering Naruto didn't get to train during this time and Sasuke clearly did, he was most definitely stronger than Naruto Uzumaki.
Kawaki

Kawaki is one of the most important characters in the Boruto series and it goes without saying that he is also one of the strongest. Kawaki gained immense power after Isshiki's death. This is because Kawaki had the karma reimplanted on his body, thanks to the help from Amado. This karma did not allow Isshiki to remain inside his body. Instead, this power only exists because of Kawaki.
He had trained this power extremely well over the years. After the timeskip in the Boruto series, Kawaki has a fully matured Kokugan. At the same time, his abilities as an expert Otsutsuki user had reached sky-high levels. Right now, Kawaki should be close to Isshiki Otsutsuki in terms of strength, and that makes him incredibly impressive.
That Kawaki is stronger than Naruto Uzumaki at this point in the story shouldn't surprise anyone, especially after Naruto lost Kurama's power.

Like Kawaki, Boruto Uzumaki also gained immense power in his journey through the story. While Boruto didn't have much power at first, Momoshiki made him his vessel and this was the start of a very arduous run for him. Boruto Uzumaki finally awakened a tremendous power thanks to his karma.
more than that Boruto also trained with Sasuke Uchiha for one year and learned all the special jutsu that Sasuke knew.. He then met Kashin Koji, who helped him gain his best abilities in different timelines through his clairvoyance ability. Arguably, the current Boruto that exists is the best version of the character across all possible timelines.

Himawari becomes one of Boruto's strongest characters. He will surpass these legendary ninjas.
Even without his karma, Boruto was able to defeat Code in battle easily. He could even rival Shinju and that is certainly very impressive. When he unleashed the full force of his karma, as recently, Boruto is so strong that he can even take on the likes of Jigen and maybe even Otsutsuki..
It may be hard for some fans to admit, but right now Boruto is much stronger than Naruto Uzumaki. Of course, that doesn't mean that Boruto passed Naruto's peak, but current Naruto would most definitely lose to him.
What's even crazier is that Boruto Uzumaki is far from reaching his full potential at this point. He still has another level of Karma to unlock, and fans know his power level will only increase from here. By the end of the Boruto series, it's entirely possible that Boruto would surpass even Naruto in Baryon Mode, which is scary to imagine. It is full of potential and rightly so.

Another new generation ninja who surpassed Naruto Uzumaki is none other than Sasuke's own daughter, Sarada Uchiha. Fans know that Sarada has tremendous visual prowess. After a two-year timeskip, she mastered the power of the Sharinganbut recently she took her eyes to the next level.
Sarada recently finally unleashed the power of her Mangekyo Sharingan. As she did, she awakened a skill that put her beyond Naruto's power level. Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan ability is called Ohirume. This ability is incredibly powerful as it allows her to control the force of infinite gravity using her black holes.
Sarada can create up to four black holes, and the larger the size, the stronger the gravity. Their gravity is so strong that even someone as strong as Shinju, who are confirmed to be above Code level, were absolutely destroyed in an instant.
This is just one of the Sarada's Mangekyo Sharingan abilities. It's highly likely that Sarada will awaken more of these powers, and fans definitely can't forget her Susanoo.
Naruto is strong, but he has yet to prove that he can fight at such a high level without Kurama by his side. Sarada will continue to grow stronger and might even gain even stronger eyes in the future Boruto series. She's a character to watch out for, and considering she's slated to become the next Hokage of Konoha, it would be fitting that she surpasses Naruto by the end of the series.
