Monster Hunter is simply not a monster hunter without a baselgeuse

Do you remember when you first saw Bazelgeuse in the world of Monster Hunter? Of course you will do it, it is one of the coldest moments in the history of games. For many of you (specifically editors) it was probably the most important moment of your life.

For some reason, Monster Hunter Wilds removes fur and feathers from Monster

Why?

The way Bazelgeuse announces his arrival is easily one of the best inputs of monsters of all time and I could not help feel his absence in Monster Hunter Wilds.

Look, here comes Bazelgeuse

Monster Hunter Rise Bazelgeuse Header

I'm sure you don't need a reminder, but I'll give you it anyway. You have recently launched a high rank in Monster Hunter World and are working to increase hunting rank while looking for as many purple investigative tracks as you can find. You are on a typical expedition, collect parts and XP from some random Wyvern you have hunted a hundred times. Nothing is unusual as long as, at once, without warning, music turns dramatically into the most frightening sound you've ever heard.

It's like a ride from The Valkyries and the thematic song of Michael Myers play at the same time and you know, instinctively, something very bad happens. You turn the camera around and look in all directions. You look to the left – nothing. You look right – nada. When you finally realize that you have to look up, but it's too late.

The rocks start to rain from the sky and hit you around you and your target monster that you have completely forgotten at this point. Suddenly you are surrounded by melon -sized stones and each second extends into the ground. What are these things? Monster Eggs? Monster poop!? They start exploding. “Oh my God,” you realize. “They're bombs!” You will immerse yourself in coverage, but there is nowhere to run. You can hardly survive the attack, and then you see it: The biggest, happiest flying monster you've ever seen, and it's running right on you.

If I say his name three times, will Bazelgeuse come to Wilds?

Seething Bazelgeuse in Monster Hunter Rise

Before Bazelgeuse (from now on, 20 Monster Hunters were introduced. What a brilliant monster is, not only because of the way it fights, but because of the way it introduces itself.

After tens of hours of crushing all the news in the world, Bagel appears just at the right time to help some much needed surprise and danger to a high position. Will your bagel hunt are constantly attacking? Absolutely. I want to see the bagel move forward in every monster hunter? Absolutely.

I am disappointed that there is no bagel and generally disappointed in Monster Hunter Wilds, where there is nothing like a bagel in the game. It's too late to introduce it. The great thing about the bagel is that you have no idea that it comes. You think you're doing routine hunting, and suddenly you are in a monster tang that you have never seen, and attacks you didn't even know were possible. If the bagel is displayed in the upcoming content update, it will not have the same effect because we can see how it comes.

There is no third energy shot law in the wilderness, which is one of the huge mistakes. Nothing will remind you that you expect unexpected, which was the most important purpose of bagel in the world. They hit the home run with the design and themed song of this monster, but even if Capcom decided to never use a bagel again, these games would still need a moment like a bagel.

There are many reasons why the world felt more distinguished than wilderness, but Bazelgeuse Intro is what stands out the most. Weapons with double controls are cool and the wound system is fun, but gives us wilderness something truly iconic? The world needed a bagel, but also wilderness.
