MoU to drive job creation, training in Saudi hospitality 

RIYADH: A water supply and environmental sanitation project in Yemen by the Saudi humanitarian agency KSrelief continues to improve conditions for the people there.

Approximately 1,033,550 liters of potable water and 10,849,000 liters of non-potable water were provided in Hajjah from June 19 to 25. The project team worked in the districts of Midi, Haradh, Hayran and Abs, as well as in the As-Ashour camp in the Razih area of ​​Saada.

There were 38 trips to remove waste from displaced persons camps, while 70,000 liters of potable and non-potable water were pumped in Saada, benefiting 30,100 people.

KSrelief also launched a volunteer medical project for ear, nose and throat surgery and tumor removal in Mukalla, Hadhramaut province.

22 volunteers from various medical fields are participating in the initiative, which started on July 20 for one week. The medical team has successfully performed 60 specialized surgeries so far.

Meanwhile, in Sudan, KSrelief has completed its urological surgery project in Port Sudan. 11 volunteers participated in the week-long program and 119 successful specialized operations were performed.
