March 3 Nintendo Music released an update that added a soundtrack from The Legend of Zelda: Reference to the past to the mobile app. Reference to the past is the fifth soundtrack from Legend Zelda The series to be included in the Nintendo Music App and is now available for all Nintendo Switch Subscribers.
Originally issued in 1991, Reference to the past is the only main line Zelda The name for SNES, but it is widely considered one of the best contributions in the franchise. After the wizard Agahnim takes over Hyrule Castle after the murder of his king through the monsters of the Dark World, he joins the castle horses and accompanies Princess Zelda to the security of the nearby shrine. After Link proves that he is worthy to control the main sword, Zelda is kidnapped again by Agahnim's forces and taken to the dark world where most of the game takes place. Reference to the past It was published on multiple platforms, including Nintendo Switch Online SNES.

However, the application is updated every week with albums from the first side of Nintendo Games and Apps, including streetpass mii Plaza and Mii Channel.

Soundtrack for PassportT contains 31 songs with approximately 46 minutes running time. Some songs, such as iconic Light World and “Dark World” themes, are also supported by an extended application function. These songs can be expanded in loops of 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Nintendo music users can stream and download songs as they see fit, provided that their iOS or Android device has enough storage space.
Reference to the past is the fifth Zelda Album Available in Nintendo Music after adding Skyward SWORD Ost in the update of January 2025. Other Zelda Songs Available in Nintendo Music at the time of writing include songs from Ocarina, Wind wakerand Breath of the Wild.
