My Hero Academia has been one of Weekly Shonen Jump's most popular manga series for many years. The manga reached its conclusion last year, at the end of 2024. As fans are well aware, the anime will close soon, given that My Hero Academia Season 8 only consists of 12 episodes to end the series. My Hero Academia will officially end before the end of the year, and no matter what the future holds for the series, it will definitely be remembered as a phenomenal anime, especially the greatest superhero anime of all time.

The main story of Deku and the A-1 class is over, but there is more content and projects to revive. My Hero Academia spin-off series, Vigilantesstill coming. Season 2 of Vigilantes is scheduled for 2026and fans are definitely excited to see what's in store for them.

Q: Are you thinking about another manga? Horikoshi: Yes, I'm already in the concept stage. Luckily, there's something else I want to do that I couldn't do with MHA, so I'm hoping to channel that feeling into that. When I announce my next series, I hope it will be in Weekly Shonen Jump. So now I'm working on a concept and thinking about how I want to challenge myself to jump one more time.
