This article contains spoilers from the Naruto series.
The Boruto the series introduced fans to a number of powerful characters. Right from the start, fans were introduced to some very powerful members of the Otsutsuki clan. However, despite the new introductions, Naruto Uzumaki stood tall as one of the most powerful in the series. A big part Naruto's power came from his Tailed Beast, Kurama. The fans know it Naruto was a very powerful Jinchurikiwhich many cannot match in battle.
Madara Uchiha has officially lost his #1 spot as the most powerful Sharingan user
Madara is powerful, but he is no longer the strongest Sharingan user in Naruto.
However, how Boruto as the series continued, Naruto's influence on the story slowly faded, as did his powers. In fact, right now, Naruto Uzumaki can't even be called the strongest Jinchuriki in the story and it's pretty clear to see. Instead of the Jinchuriki system, Boruto seems to have introduced a new power that basically sees Tailed Beasts incarnate into human forms like Jura.
Naruto Is No Longer Jinchuriki In Boruto
Naruto Uzumaki was the strongest Jinchuriki in the world at the beginning of the year Boruto series. Fans have seen him utilize Kurama's power at a very high level, and he also maintained connections with the other Tailed Beasts, giving him the opportunity to use their power in battle. However, his connection with the Tailed Beasts was severed after Kurama's death.
Be good Naruto. And don't come to me too soon. — Kurama to Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki was no longer a Jinchuriki after the battle against Isshiki. Although still powerful, he was a shadow of his former self. Naruto still had a high level of power, but the connection with the Tailed Beast was no longer there. After his death, Killer Bee officially became the strongest Jinchuriki in the story.
The Jinchuriki system is officially deprecated in Boruto
While the Jinchuriki are clearly very powerful as seen in the Naruto series, Boruto plans to replace the system as a whole. It seems that the concept of sealing tailed beasts into individuals is not something Kishimoto and Ikemoto are trying to do. Instead, a new concept has emerged in the Two Blue Vortex that will essentially replace the Jinchuriki system forever.
Listen, Himawari. You are not a Jinchuriki. You're more like Jura. — Kurama to Himawari
Boruto: Kishimoto just confirmed Sasuke's next main power after the return
Sasuke has great power and this will make him stronger than ever in Boruto.
When Jura first appeared in Boruto, fans were immediately told that he was quite strange compared to the other Shinju. This is simply because, unlike the others, it is not based on the mother's body. He is the incarnation of the minor Ten-tails himself, and this makes him incredibly powerful and nearly indestructible.
Fans were later told that, like Jura, Himawari is also an incarnation of Kurama. This was quite shocking as most fans assumed that Himawari was actually a Jinchuriki. It has now been officially confirmed to be something far more powerful.
The new incarnated tailed beasts are stronger than the Jinchuriki
Jinchuriki were once the pinnacle of power in the Naruto series. However, now their existence is obsolete. It seems that Tailed Beasts will now manifest as incarnations in humansinstead of simply being sealed inside people. This would be better for the Tailed Beasts as they would be able to form friendly bonds with those around them and it would also make them stronger as the narrative already established the fact that the incarnated Tailed Beasts are much stronger than the Jinchuriki.
With Boruto, the Jinchuriki concept is now officially dead. Right now, Killer Bee is most likely the last Jinchuriki, and he too will eventually fade from existence, meaning there will only be Tailed Beast incarnations in the story going forward.
