Thursday's improvised Nintendo Direct was full of exciting announcements and updates, although it seems what fans are talking about the most-long-awaited return of Tomodachi-is the mysterious “C” button that was seen after broadcasting.

Within Direct, Nintendo revealed the “Nintendo Today” application, a platform where Nintendo reports and daily updates will be shared with players. On the Storefront application page, the Switch 2 console is displayed in one of the images with the “C” button on the right Joy-Con.
The image that is still included in the application page seems to be an unintentional leak of further details of the console that is likely to be revealed in the next week Switch 2 Direct. Yet it leads fans on the walls and tries to come.
Despite the Reddit, there is no lack of fibers filled with Nintendo fans who are trying to deduce exactly what the “C” button will be used for.
While some have guessed “capture”, it is worth noting that the left Joy-Con still has its reserved button that has been used for screen images, which seems less likely.
Others wondered if “C” means a community, with a button to bring you to a reserved place for landing for invitations to games and chat functionality. Some have suggested a calendar, even if it feels a bit stunning.
Perhaps “C” means a cursor and pressing it allows players to use joyful -ons, such as the mice on the keyboard. After all, it was part of a recent escape. Or perhaps “C” is nothing, as was the case in the previous Nintendo consoles that had a “C” stick. Whatever the case, it will not be too long to find out.
