Obsidian Announces Special Fallout: New Vegas Stream

Obsidian Entertainment will be involved in the special Fallout: New Vegas panel taking place as part of Fallout Fan Celebration 2025, the company announced. Although the annual event has not consistently received more support from Fallout: New Vegas developer in the past, this year seems to be an exception.

Today, October 19, marks the 15th anniversary Fallout: New Vegas release for PC and seventh generation consoles. to date New Vegas she is still the only one Fallout game developed by Obsidian Entertainment.

New Vegas developers are coming to celebrate Fallout 2025 fans

To mark the last anniversary of the game, Obsidian announced that they will be hosting a special retrospective panel with several Fallout: New Vegas developers as part of the latest iteration of Fallout Fan Celebration. The 2025 event will take place on November 15th, beginning at 10:00am PT / 1:00pm ET. The studio has not yet identified the employees it will send to speak at the event, but it will he did reveals that there will be four.

Separately, Fallout Fan Celebration 2025 organizers have confirmed that the November 15th panel will be streamed live. The current plan is to broadcast all the events taking place during the convention in Nevada, although the details of the live broadcast have not yet been announced as organizers are still finalizing the logistics. The Nov. 15 panel with Obsidian staff is described as “a trip down memory lane in the Mojave Desert.” The actual event will be held at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, one of the many places where this happens Fallout: New Vegas recreated.

Fallout Fan Celebration 2025 will run from November 14th to 16th. Obsidian support aside, this is an unofficial convention, meaning it's not expected to bring any big news regarding upcoming video game projects. Such announcements would more likely materialize during this year's Fallout Day broadcast — scheduled for October 23 — though that doesn't mean it will happen.

A leaked internal presentation during Microsoft's legal battle with the FTC over its acquisition of Activision Blizzard previously revealed that Bethesda planned Fallout 3 remaster in early 2020. The docs didn't talk about it New Vegas receive similar treatment.
