Octolock Away the Pain Mission Guide for Pokémon Legends ZA

Finding Clobbopus

as far as i know the only way to catch Clobbopus Pokemon Legends ZA is the entrance to the 1 star hyperspace wild zone in Lumiose City. You should see gray silhouette of Clobbopus in the list of catchable Pokemon.

If you're not sure what it looks like, you can take a look at the images above to get a better idea.

Of course, since the Pokemon available in these pocket dimensions are kind of random, you can always rest and change the time of day to reset the hyperspace wild zones until you find one on the map that contains a Tantrum Pokemon. Once I entered the Hyperspace Zone with Clobbopus, I found a group of them very close to my spawn point, but it may be different for other players.

Evolving Clobbopus in Grapploct

Now to get a Grapploc who knows the Octolock move, you must evolve Clobbopus so that it learns a move called Taunt. Our Clobbopus it was level 23 when we caught it, so it didn't know the move yet.

Just feed it some of your Exp. Candy (or level her up the old fashioned way) and he'll eventually learn the move (once he gets past level 34 he'll know).

Continue and set Taunt as one of his active combat moves and voilà – you should see an evolution icon will appear above the Clobbopus, indicating that it is ready to transform into a Grapploct.

Once Clobbopus evolves into Grapploct, it automatically gets an idea for its new move: Octolock. Now just return to Kazuki in the sewers and use the attack on his back to complete the side mission.
