Luffy and Loki overpowered Gunko in Warland
The Elbaf arc of One Piece has an ominous feel to it ever since Loki's flashback ended, and that's because things were just going too well for the Straw Hats and the Giants. One by one, each of Imu's allies fell, whether it was Sommers, Killingham, or the Domi Reversi army that was established at the beginning of the arc.
In One Piece Chapter 1178, Imu himself fell as Gunko was easily overpowered by Loki and Luffy, both of whom managed to counter the power of Domi Reversi. When Imu was purged from Gunko's body, it looked like the battle was won, but now Imu's true form is finally unleashed and that spells trouble for Luffy and Loki.

Why does Im's true form appear in Elbaf
When Loki froze Ima inside One piece chapter 1178 it was clear that Imu would now have to mount some sort of counterattack. At the end of the chapter, Imu was seen in the Holy Land of Marijoa summoning the elders and telling them that they were leaving the Holy Land for a short while. In other words, Imu is personally headed to Elbaf through the Abyss and is now preparing to face the threat of Luffy and Loki with his own power, revealing their true forms in the process. Quite clearly this spells big trouble for the duo of Luffy, Loki and also the country of Elbaf as there is absolutely no way they can defeat Ima.
Elbaf's next battle is the biggest so far in the Final Saga from one piece
Anyway, Luffy and Loki are now set to battle Imo in the Elbaf Arc and this battle is going to be incredibly messy. For starters, Imu is simply too overpowered for these two individuals to fight and defeat right now. Imu's power was such that even the Ancient Kingdom's army could not compete with it. Even Joy Boy, whose Haki was tremendously powerful, had long ago been defeated by the powers of the 20 Kings, namely Imu. For Luffy and Loki to defeat him right now is absolutely impossible.
The five elders, Mu will leave the Holy Land for a short while. —Imu, One Piece 1178
When Imu enters Elbaf, presumably through the Abyss in One Piece 1179, he reveals his true form. Imu's shadow character may be fully revealed in the next chapter, but even if not, they will show their powers in their true form as they face Luffy and Loki in battle once more.

Measuring the odds of winning against the king of the world
Now the 2nd round of Imu versus Luffy and Loki begins and things are already looking grim for Elbaf and the Straw Pirates. Simply put, the chances of winning here are close to zero. There is absolutely no way Luffy and Loki can defeat the final villain of One Piece so soon.
If Imu even moves to Elbaf, then that alone will cement the defeat of the Elbaf side and cause trouble for the likes of Sun god Nik and Nidhogg. Regardless of how fans look at it, Imu's arrival on Elbaf is very bad for the main characters, as it not only threatens their lives, but also opens the door for some major deaths to take place in the country.
